" let's get you a drink shall we? "
+

Dakota awakes with a groan, cursing at the sunlight that prods through her lids roughly. She grimaces at the ache between her legs, mentally scolding Klaus for going so rough. Although last night felt wrong, she didn't regret it. It felt like it needed to be done; like their bond needed to grow stronger.

"Good morning."

A voice, one she couldn't displace, chirps from her doorway. Anger bubbles up inside of her throat, voicing itself through a scoff. Her piercing gaze burns through her twin, pissed and loathing, the slight glint of hurt not going unnoticed by either of them. Hands clench the white sheets shielding her naked body, shaking and withering, anger too overwhelming to suppress. "Damon."

A sigh blows passed his full lips, guilt panging through his chest, heart longing for his twin as realization set in. Her bare back, the rancid smell of a hybrid coating his sister like a second skin, her glow; she's bonded completely. Bonnie had warned him and Elena one night after a long argument about the distressed Salvatore sister that if Dakota and Klaus were to ever... mate, she wouldn't bring Dakota back if the hybrid were killed. She wouldn't put her through that pain, an ache so powerful it'd surely drive her insane; a deadly fate in her future than no one could stop her from.

"I'm not here to fight with you."

"Then why are you here?" She snaps.

"Well, this is my house-" counters Damon, "and, I waved goodbye to your little playmate this morning. Smelled him all over you, disgusting. And I'm sure he wasn't here waiting to play a game of go fish with me over a cup of tea, so I could only assume you two... did something."

Dakota's cheeks grow hot, pink crawling up her neck and costing her cheeks in blatant discomfort. Her lips finds her teeth, still plump and sore from the remnants of Klaus's canines, too unsure of herself to meet her brother's judgment. If anything, she had gotten her revenge. In a more mild, pleasurable way, but nonetheless turned the tables on her twin. Now, things got rockier, more complicated. With Dakota and Klaus now aggressively protective over each other, bond set and stone, they'd both do anything to make sure each other is sane and unscathed. Which meant if Damon were to take her to Stefan, to the coffins of her future husband's siblings, she'd go ballistic. There's no telling what animalistic approach she'd take to make sure no one was toying with her precious mate's feelings.

"How's Elena?" She speaks up, not wanting to speak further on the private subject.

Dakota notices the slight twitch in Damon's demeanor, a little quip of serene mixing in with his stoic facade. She raises a brow, the emotions not flying over her head the least bit. "Oh? Have you finally made your move?"

"I thought I blocked your nosy ass from reading my thoughts." Grumbles the eldest Salvatore.

"You did. Not that I'd want to read what's up inside your girl-crazed, sociopathic brain; but, I can just tell. Your face, it seems less... Damon-y and more... happy?" The blue eyed girl smirks lightly, a scoff escaping her lips, "who would've thought out of all vampires in this universe, you'd be the one to grow soft for a human."
