Y/N's P.O.V:

Today was my first day of school at Midtown and I honestly don't understand why this school was chosen for me and my siblings, were not very smart. I was with my best friend Y/BF/N and my siblings Y/S/N, Y/B/N, and Y/YB/N. As we walked down the hall I kept my gaze downward so no one could see my eyes, I was born with a rare genetic disorder called Heterochromia which just means weird eye color. You'd think that would be cool since your eyes are unique but of course, with my luck, I got stuck with red. I used to think it was cool until other kids started teasing me about it calling me a demon, hellspawn, or satan's daughter and others.

They all stayed away from me after that, all except Y/BF/N, we met in the fifth grade she said that she thought my eyes were cool and that it's better to be feared than loved, which soon became my motto. Everyone looked pretty casual for a school for young Einsteins not that I didn't but my hoodie was bright yellow, don't judge me it was the only one I could find. As Y/BF/N and I walked towards the doorway I slipped my headphones on and played Godzilla by Eminem. (song above) This song made me feel like less of a monster, ironic right? Anyway my siblings and I stayed close to make sure no one gave away their secret, that we had powers.

Nobody knew except us and Y/BF/N, so we kept them close too. ( Author: I wrote them so you can decide their gender) We all had different powers because of our ages, even though we weren't that far apart. Y/S/N and I were twins but I was a minute and a half older, Y/B/N and Y/YB/N were twins too but Y/B/N was older by 30 seconds. Anyway, about our powers a side effect of having powers that correspond with the element is that our eyes match our powers. Mine is fire so red eyes, Y/S/N's is air so her eyes are a gorgeous pearly white, Y/B/N's is water so his eyes are a deep-sea blue, Y/YB/N is earth so he was naturally getting hit on by the ladies because his eyes were a light green.

Despite us being opposite elements Y/B/N and I were the closest out of us four. Most people thought we were quadruplets since Y/S/N and I were only one year older than the boys. As I was saying everyone looked pretty casual except me, I got all kinds of looks from the other kids. We got our schedules to see which classes we had together I had every class with at least one of my siblings, or Y/BF/N. "cool" I thought to myself, I looked over at Y/BF/N and she looked like she was going to say something but was interrupted by the bell.

We all had the first class together so we walked together. When we walked in everyone was talking to their friends and we just stood there awkwardly.  For what seemed like an eternity we stood in front of the class until I finally nudged Y/S/N to signal her and the rest of us to sit. All five of us sat at the same table (pretend that's what they have in high school instead of desks) I could feel others staring and I heard people whispering until Y/BF/N turned around and shouted, " HEY UGLY HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I WAS WHISPERING ABOUT YOUR UNIBROW?!" That comment earned her a scary glare from the girl and "ooh's" from the class.

Everyone except two boys in the corner, one of them was Hawaiian looking and the other was your traditional white boy. I didn't pay much attention to him but something about him stood out to me his fluffy brown curls, his chocolate brown eyes(that made me hungry) almost... attractive. I must've been staring too long because I soon noticed he was staring back at me like he was mocking me. Meanwhile, the girl was giving Y/BF/N the scariest glare I've ever seen, the kind only a future sociopath could give. That's when I knew it wasn't going to be a good day.
