A Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu FanFiction: Akihisa Yoshii x Mizuki Himeji

Chapter 1

Another school year starts at Fumizuki Academy. Everyone was excited to see old friends and new ones. But some of the students weren’t too excited, a student like a boy named Akihisa Yoshii, a boy form Class F, formally known as the ‘Ultimate Idiot’.

“Sigh… another school year starts again, I sure hope I survive this year, got lucky passing last year thanks to Yuuji by helping me beg,” he said to himself.

“Good morning Akihisa-kun,” said a girl with long pink wavy hair named Mizuki Himeji.

“Oh, good morning, Himeji-san,” Akihisa smiled.

“So how was your summer, Akihisa-kun?” Mizuki asked.

“It was boring, my sister always makes me wear a girl’s swimsuit every time we go to the beach,” he answered, “How about yours, Himeji-san?” he asked.

“Hm... my family and I spent our summer in the US-“,”Good morning, Aki!” said a girl wearing a ribbon and ponytail named Minami Shimada, cutting off Mizuki’s words.

“Hey there Minami,” said Akihisa, “How’s your summer?” he added.

“Well we went to Europe,” Minami replied, “I’ve missed you, Aki,” Minami said, blushing a bit.

“I-I’ve missed you too,” said Akihisa also blushing a bit.

Mizuki stared at them, feeling a bit jealous, can’t say anything about that awkward moment. She just remained silent.

Akihisa noticed Mizuki, I-I forgot Himeji-san was there! I’m such an idiot!  he thought, “I… er… H-himeji-san… uhm…” he said.

“I… uhh… I think I need to go, gotta visit Shouko and Yuuko at Class A, bye!” said Mizuki, fake laughing then runs out of the door.

“Himeji-san…” Akihisa said, feeling a bit bad for the girl.

“So Aki, we’re Junior students now,lets work hard this time,” Minami smiled.

Then, Yuuji Sakamoto, Akihisa’s best friend came in with a girl faced boy named Hideyoshi Kinoshita, “Hey Akihisa!” said Yuuji as he approached him, “Hey Akihisa,” greeted Hideyoshi.

Akihisa smiled at them then asked how their lives were during summer vacation. Hideyoshi said he went to France with his sister slash twin, Yuuko Kinoshita. Yuuji said he and his family spent their summer in Hawaii and said that was a good chance to getaway from his so called ‘fiancé’, Shouko Kirishima. Akihisa felt a bit jealous and embarrassed because all of his friends spent all their summers overseas.

“Hey, have you seen Muttsulini?” asked Hideyoshi.

“No, I haven’t seen him, I bet he’s somewhere peeping again,” said Yuuji, laughing a bit.

“I think I saw him staring at Class 3-A’s door,” said Minami.

“Could it be that he likes someone there?” said Yuuji.

“Probably Aiko Kudou,” laughed Akihisa, “Or it could also be Yuuko Kinoshita or Shouko Kirishima,” he added.

“Tch, there’s no way that’ll happen,” said Yuuji feeling a bit jealous, “Yeah, and besides, no one will fall in love with my sis,” Hideyoshi agreed.

“That’s because all of her supposed fan boys are obsessed with you!” Akihisa laughed.

“Sh-shuddup!” Hideyoshi blushed.

Akihisa and Yuuji just laughed.

Meanwhile…

Mizuki was in the girl’s restroom, sitting in the corner, “Man, that was embarrassing. Minami was so…! Ugh! Hm… I shouldn’t be mad, I mean, I don’t even deserve Akihisa, he’s better off with Minami,” she said to herself.

Just then, Shouko Kirishima , Yuuji’s ‘fiancé’ came in, “…Mizuki, what are you doing and why are you sitting in a corner?” she asked.

Mizuki got startled, "O-oh n-nothing... I-I was just thinking, that's all..." she said as she looks down.

"...Are you sure? You don't look fine to me..." Shouko replied.

"A-alright, it was Minami who made me upset," Mizuki said as she puffs her cheek.

"...What did she do?" asked Shouko.

"Well whenever I talk to Akihisa, she suddenly appears between us then ruins our conversation by starting a new one," Mizuki explained.

"...I see. I think I don't like people like that," said Shouko as she sat next to Mizuki.

"You're so lucky you can have Sakamoto all to yourself," said Mizuki cheerfully.

"...You're wrong, I think Yuuji really hates me, I think I should just give up & move on," said Shouko as she hugs her knees.

"No don't say that! You must never-" "...Forget it Mizuki, I've decided that I'll move on," said Shouko, cutting Mizuki's sentence.

"I-I understand," smiled Mizuki, "Me too, I'll move on," she added.

"...No! You can't! The one you love doesn't hate you like mine, you should fight, Mizuki!" said Shouko grabbing Mizuki's shoulder.

"B-but-", "...No buts! And besides, your love story is very intriguing to me, you have a love rival," Shouko smiled.

"A-alright," Mizuki unsurely, "...Promise me you'll never give up on love?" said Shouko.

Mizuki just nodded, "I-I promise," even though she's still not quite sure about that.
