Chapter 5

"She... Made an accident during the flight! Their airplane crashed & she died with a million people with her..." Shouko explained, looking down with tears in her eyes, "I'm so sorry, Yoshii,"

Kouta Tsuchiya just hugged her, patting her back.

Akihisa couldn't believe it, he just froze there. He didn't know what to think or say. He fell on his knees then he cried.

"Akihisa! Did you heard the news!?" Yuuji said as he ran to Akihisa. "He did..." said Kouta coldly.

"No! No! No!" Akihisa yelled.

"Uhm... Yoshii... She... Wanted me to give this to you..." Shouko said, holding a pink envelope, "It’s from Mizuki..." she added.

Akihisa took the letter then ran outside the school.

He opened the envelope then saw a letter in it saying:

Dear Akihisa Yoshii

I really don't know how to begin this but, you already know my feelings for you, right? Again, I love you, I really do, from the very first time I met you, my heart raised. You are really kind to me, you're sweet, adorable, gentle & you always save my life. You made me so happy, Akihisa. At first I was expecting you have the same feelings for me, but I was wrong, but I already accepted that fact because I know that you already have Minami in your life & she will take good care of you, I know she will. I wish you all the best in your relationship with her. I'm really happy for you, Akihisa, I really am. I only wanted to tell you this before I go to the Philippines, for good. And I really wish you will understand my feelings for you, Akihisa. I wish you happiness, goodbye, I hope we meet again soon. Take care!

Shouko was there watching & crying. He approached him then hugged him, "I'm so sorry, Yoshii. She wanted you to be happy, she wanted you to keep your promise to Minami, that you'll never ever replace her for anyone," she said.

"I'm so sorry Kirishima-san... For hurting your best friend... I'm the most idiotic person I've ever known! I can't believe its too late for everything! I ignored her feelings for me, I didn't give her a chance! Dammit! I will keep that promise, for Mizuki..." he sobbed.

"You called her by her first name?" Shouko blushed.

Akihisa just smiled.

"Yeah, and by the way, are you & Muttsurini dating? I've noticed that ever since Minami told me something. He kinda changed you, a lot," he asked with a teasy smile.

Shouko blushed hard, "I uh... I mean uh... Nngg... Uwah! Eep!" she said as she ran away blushing tomato red.

Akihisa just chuckled, "I knew you were, Kirishima-san!" he yelled.

"Oh please, call me Shouko!" Shouko yelled back.

"A-alright, Shouko!" Akihisa smiled.

During Mizuki’s funeral...

Akihisa looked at Mizuki, in a coffin, in a deep endless sleep. Tears start to fall from his eyes again, Shouko just patted his back, Akihisa touched the coffin, "Mizuki, always remember that you're still number one in my heart, and always will be. Farewell, my love," he said as his tears fell on her coffin.
