I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring in my ears. I felt next to me only to grab onto empty space. Quickly gettting up i looked franticly around for Gaara before settling down on the couch. He was propably just walking around the village with his brothers and sisters. There was no need to get all worked up about him not being next to me. I quickly changed into my normal ninja attire which consisted of a black tank top that went to my belly button, small black shorts, and my cloak. When i was all set and had all my weapons, preparing for the attack on Konoha. I wasn't going to stop the attack, it was not my place to. All i could do was protect the village, but also protect Gaara at all costs. I grabbed an apple for my breakfast and quickly headed out the door.
There was very few people in the streets. The sun had just begun to rise probably creating a purple and pink hue in the sky. I decided to walk to Sarutobi's office, it would save me chakra and allow me time to take much needed excercise. Also it would kind of be pointless if it was only a few minutes away. I was to lost in my thoughts to notice that i was allready at the office. i took the small climb up the stairs and knocked before entering, earning me a soft enter from the door.
I felt around eight presences in the room, not including me and Sarutobi. At first i was confused until i realized that these must be higher rank chunnins or jounins. I walked up to his desk ignoring all the questions as to who i was. "Good morning Sarutobi, i hope you slept well. Wouldnt want be tired on a day such as this," several people in the roomed gasped at my seemingly informal greeting while Sarutobi just chuckled. "Well as well as i could with all nerves. How about you. You had more on your hands then i did. Oops forgot to introduce everyone.. Everyone this is Yuki, she will, be the proctor for the last exams. Yuki im sure you will take matters in your own hands in learning everyones names" At this time a male in this room decided to speak up. "Pardon me Lord Hokage, but are you sure that she is capable of being a proctor, or is even to be trusted. Look at her. She cant be any older then the rookies," Sarutobi was about to speak but i intuerrupted him.
"I am blind not deaf. Watch what you say in front of people that easily over power you. If you have something to say then say it to me. Understand, i will not tolerate disrespect, regardless of who you are. Talk about someone to be trusted. Seems all that happens to this village is betrayal. Its you who should be questioned. Itachi Uchiha did it, how do i know if you wont to. So shut up and stay still, all of you," there was nothing but silence as i walked over to the one that had spoken. I felt for his hand and his whole life flashed through my head. His name was Kakashi Hatake a jounin for Naruto, Sasuke, and a pink head called Sakura.
"Lord Hokage! Stop this! What is she doing to Kakashi," another man had yelled just as i was finished. "Asuma i will only say this once. She is not our enemy, or at least an enemy we need to make," i chuckled at his comment and continued. "Sarutobi is right, im not your enemy. However if i was.. Well lets not hope that it will come to that. I was merely just going through his thoughts....Basically i now know everything about him. This is the only way to earn my trust. Even Sarutobi has gone through it. Its painless. You just space out for a few moments after words. Asuma, you must be. Come here," i then felt heavy footsteps come close to me. The smell of smoke filled my lungs as i grabbed onto his hand. Just as his memories entered my mind Kakashi decided to wake up.
MINI TIME SKIP**
I had done the same to everyone there, the ones that i know knew were, Asuma, Kakashi, Guy, Kuriena, Anko, Ibiki, Kotetsu, and Izumo. When i was done everyone went to the exams, leaving me and Sarutobi. "Kiya, I know that you feel it to. Something big will happen today, lives will be lost. Might as well be my life. Remember what i ask of you.." I let out a chuckle at how true his words are. This may be the last time i spoke to him, and i was going to make it last. "Sarutobi theres one thing i have to do before i can walk into those exams. I closed my eyes and activated my Sharigann and Rennigan.. earning a shocked gasp from Sarutobi.
Slowly my vision started to get blurry, until i finally adjusted to being able to see. "Hello Sarutobi, its nice to finally see you," a wide smile spread across my face as i looked at the man in front of me. He was dressed in white and red robes, with a pipe in his hand. His face was wrinkled , showing each battle hes gone through. "But how do you have the Rennigan, let alone the Sharigan! You can see, thats impossible. Not that im happy for you but,." "Sarutobi, i at least owe you the truth. While i was gone for the past couple of weeks i ran into an old friend. His name was, Kakuzu... I we with the Akatsuki for the time, them becoming a part of my family, Kakuzu being my fiancee. On my last day thier it turned into my birthday. Two of those gifts including the Rennigan from the leader and Sharigan from Itachi Uchiha. Only when i have activated both, one in each eye, then i can see. This is my first time using it. Meaning its my first time being able to see since that day i was sent here. Understand this i will never betray this village, and i am sorry for not telling you sooner. Though i ask of you not to tell anyone else," when i was finished I gave him time to register what I said to him.
He started to get up from his desk and head over to the windows that look out into the quiet village. What came next shocked me, i was now being hugged from him. It was a little awkward at first before i warmed into the hug. "Princess understand that you are like a daughter to me. I beleive that what you say is true and i will not tell anyone. Know that your future will only get harder from here on out. One day you will be forced to chose. Not just between us and the Akatsuki, but between that dark and the light. I will not be here much longer. But i will allways be with you, to guide you when you most need it," a few tears escaped my eyes but i quickly wiped them. A shinobi has to be strong, i have to be strong. Not only for myself, but for the village as well.
we broke apart he hug, him kissing me on my forhead. "I think its time we get to these exams, dont you. I wish that you will join me, at least until the matches start," I went back to being blind as i took his arm. "I will be honored to join you Hokage-Sama," i said, for once giving him the title that he deserved. "Kiya, dont give me such honorifics. I am no longer Hokage, it is you should be called Hokage-Sama." "It may not have seemed like it, but i have allways respected you. On your lasts moments, i shall carry out that respect."
"Very well then. Come i have escorts waiting for us."
MINI TIME SKIP**
When we got to the exams i stayed with Sarutobi until the Kazakage got their. Something was off about his presence, so i quickly went by him, just touching him. Turms out Orochimaru plans to kill the Hokage, hes allready killed the Kazakage yet the Sand doesnt know. The only one to blame for this fight is the Sound. I know that Orochimaru noticed me touching him, yet i really could not care. The entire arena was filled wuth people today all waiting for the matches to start. I decided ot pay Gaara a quick visit before we started.
When i just showed up next to him, i ended up giving his brother and sister along with thier sensie a heart attack. "Mother, what are you doing here?" "Gaara im the proctor for this part of the exams. Didn't think i would miss out on your fight, did you? From now on call me Yuki, and act like you dont know me. The only ones that reallize who i am are the Hokage and you guys. I want no one else to know im here. Also you guys really think that you will win agianst the leaf. Even with the sound. Just saying, be careful. Your Kazakage may not be all that he seems to be." With those words i teleported to the fighting area leaving them stunned at my words and a kiss on the cheek for Gaara.
I realized.. everything is only going to get more interesting from here on out.
