Veenoritaa's Pov

'Are you sure about this?' Tikki asked me. I sigh as I turn to the other side to avoid her question.

'Wait, are you avoiding me?' She asked as she came to the other side and sit infront of me.

'Tikki, it's 3 am now, let me sleep.' I said.

'Sleep? Are you sure, you can sleep peacefully with your messy mind?' She asked. I sigh as I woke up from my bed.

'Yes, you're right. I was just acting as if Im sleeping.' I said.

'Why did you do that?' She asked. Actually, this was the first time I did something without saying anything to her.

'Its for everyone's good, Tikki.' I said. She cross her small arms and roll her eyes.

'Look, Im really sorry for not telling this to you. I know you would say NO if I say, I wanted to resign my work.' I tried to explain.

'Im not going to forgive you for this and yes, you literally destroyed your own life.' She said glaring at me with her crossed arms.

'Destroyed my own life?' I asked clueless.

'Yes, you know you love him but because of those devils you're denying it.' She said. I sigh.

'Tikki, I told alot of times. Im not the one for him.' I said as tears gather in the corner of my eyes.

'Really, if you're not the one for him. Then, why in the first place did god made you meet him again and again? Have you ever think about it?' She asked.

'Tikki, my meet with him was just a fate. Nothing more.' I forced my words out.

'Okay, then why did you fell in love with him?' She asked. I stayed silent because I don't have answer for this. Yes, why did I fell in love with him?

'See, your teary eyes, you sad face and you broken heart. All of this clearly shows how much you love him Veenoritaa.' She said making me cry so hard.

'Y...Yes, this is really b...breaking my h..heart. But I have no other c..choice than l..leaving him.' I cried.

'If I stay it will ruin everything. They will do a..anything to get h..him. Im not ready to l..lose my loved ones just for my h..happiness.' I said as I wiped my tears.

'But he said, he will protect you.' She said reminding me the words he said earlier.

'No, Tikki. Im not going to take a risk in this.' I said because I already made my mind. I can't bear to see others in pain because of me.

'But he is a good guy Veenoritaa. I bet you can't find someone who will love you and take care of you like him. He truly loves you.' She said. I listened to it silently.

'Im your best friend. I've known you for a long time and I really care about you. I want your life to be happy.' She said. I nod.

'I know and you also know this, if you're with him I'm very sure you will be very happy. You always put your happiness away for others to be happy. This time, please put your happiness on the first place. You have a good life coming, please don't destroy it.' She said.

'But how can I put my happiness on the first place when I know that happiness could hurt someone?' I asked.

'I understand your situation but-' She stopped and look at me. It clearly shows that she's sad by seeing my state.

Time skipped - office

I look around the empty room. It only been 1 months since I worked here but I swear I had so much fun and learned  lots of things based on my work except for meeting Kim Taehyung, my boss.
