Kyle opened the glass door to room #24. Inside the small room was little desks and chairs, and a medium sized chalkboard. Kids ran around the classroom throwing crumbled paper balls at each other and drawing pictures on each classmate. Kyle sighed and dropped his backpack on the hook. He turned to his small desk that had his name on it and sat down.
Kyle took out his pencil, and fiddled with it. He soon slouched and clutched on his pencil. Everyone in the classroom, except for Kyle, screamed and laughed until they heard a creak in the glass door. A big, red, curly haired woman stomped into the classmate. Her bright red lipstick smudged on her lips. Her eyes were large, staring at everyone in the room. "Everyone to their seats!" She shouted as she plopped onto her desk chair. The classmates ran to their seats hiding the crumbled paper held in their hands.
"I'll be your substitute. Now! Get back to your Daily Grammar! NOW!" The class quickly took out their Grammar page.
After first period, all the kids walked out of the room. Kyle went dashing out of class of relief. "Geez! Kyle! Slow down." Ben exclaimed. "Gosh, get a grip." Kyle blushed and walked away pretending nothing happened. He sat down on a bench near by and sighed. "Ben." He muttered angrily, holding his fist. All the kids left to next period as Kyle slouched down on the bench clutching his fists. A girl walked down the hallway. She was wearing a white, lacy, dress with flowers laced all over her. She had light, blonde hair that went down to her side. She strutted down the hall, looked at Kyle with a face, and her hands on her hips.
"You should be at class." She whined. "You shouldn't be just sitting there. Ben makes fun of everyone. It's normal." Kyle looked at her, feeling strange about the words she spoke. He nodded. He picked up his backpack and stood up. "Ok." He mumbled. He ran to class not looking back at the girl.
After school had gone, he sat down on a bench, by the bus stop sign and waited. No one sat on bench until, the girl with the pink dress sat down on the bench, looking everywhere but Kyle. They waited, and waited until everyone was gone except for the two. It was silent, until the girl had spoke. "Thanks for listening to me." She muttered. "No one has all day." She sighed. Kyle looked up at her, his face plain. "Your welcome.."
