Hoseok managed to revive Jimin and called for a carriage to take them back to their castle.
When Seokjin saw his parents, he happily welcomed them, completely disregarding their sullen faces.
"So what did the oracle say father?" the boy chirped excitedly, "Do you have any good news for me? Will I be getting married soon?"
Jimin was overtaken by pity for his poor innocent son who was oblivious to the damned fate awaiting him.
"I'm so sorry Seokjin." Jimin suddenly burst into tears, pulling his on in a hug, "Please forgive me, but despite what happens just know that your father and I love you."
"Why is appa crying father?"
"I'm afraid the oracle didn't have any good news for us Seokjin." Hoseok said sounding defeated.
"What it say?" "I'm ready to accept anything."
"It said you are cursed to be married to a hideous monster and there is nothing we can do to stop it."
"If that is my fate then I accept it."
Upon hearing his son say that, Jimin's crying only worsened.
"The both of you should not feel bad about this because it is not your fault."
In no time Seokjin was dressed up in funeral attire as for his parents did not consider this as only a marriage but also death for their beloved child. He was led in a procession to bare land were he was left unprotected and exposed.
A magic wind lifted him up and whisked him away to his fated mate and set him in a meadow where he fell asleep.
