Chapter Four💛

Jace's POV
   When Riele mentioned that bastard's name, all the blood from my face drained. I felt anger rise for all the shit he did to Riele. She was scarred for life and there was nothing I could do to take away the pain.

   "What about Tyson?" I was wondering why she was thinking of him right now. Isn't he in Paris.

    "Tyson is in California, he is bound to find me Jace, please protect me, I'm so scared, please, please ,please" We were both in tears right now. I myself was scared. Knowing what crap this guy was involved in drive me nuts. He could kill us without a second thought.

   "He won't get to you for as long as I'm here, I'll never leave your side." I held her tight against my chest. There is nothing I can't do for Riele, I just have this urge to guard her with my life.

   After her breakdown, we snuck back into the house. She needed water so we were in the kitchen for a while. I was kinda curious about something else.

   "Hey Rie, about the kiss earlier...."I said trailing off. "Yeah,what about it??"this is gonna be awkward."Why did you run off at first, didn't you like it and how did Tyson come up??"I didn't want to trigger anything but I just wanted to know if she liked it or it was a mistake on her side.

   Instead of answering me, she just settled her glass on the counter and slowly walked over to me. I was thinking...what is happening....

    She came so close to me and I was drowning in her vanilla scented skin. I looked into her big brown sparkly eyes that I had become so drawn into lately. She went on her tippy toes and kissed me.

    All throughout, I thought I was imagining things 'cause this was definitely something unforgettable. After about 5 minutes of our mini make out, she pulled away and said this," does that answer your question??"

    No words came out of my mouth as she picked up her glass and headed upstairs to the girl's room. I couldn't get what just happened out of my head....I kissed my best friend...that left me wondering,"What are we??"

The next day
    Most of the guys had left leaving me, Sean , Riele and Ella to clean up since we were all going to set for the table read. Sean asked me if we could talk so I was like, "Sure". We went to his bedroom..more like a dog pound...who sleeps with eight huskies??...

  "I heard that!!"..."Well, what do you expect from a guy who already has trouble sleeping with one dog, I mean I love Henry but 8 huskies...dude, don't you get allergies or something??"

   "Nah, I love my babies. Anyway, you and Riele came back into the house very late, where had you been??" Knowing Fox, he wants the inside scoop on whatever happened and to be honest here, I don't know what to say, are we friends or something more??

    I was pulled out of my thoughts by Sean snapping his fingers at my face. "Hey, if you don't wanna talk it's fine but we gotta clean up, or we'll be late to set."

Meanwhile downstairs
   "So, you and Jace, huh!?😏" Ella said. I was wondering what she was implying so I asked," What about me and Jace??"

   "C'mon Rie, we're friends. You came to the room so late. Technically past midnight and so did Jace. Where were you guys?"

    "We were just talking and I guess time flew by" I shrugged. Knowing Ella, she ain't buying anything I'm saying.

   "You know what, let's just get dressed and head to set or we'll be late."

    "Good call".

An hour later
   Jace's POV
   We were all done dressing up. Madame Rosa, Sean's Nana, prepared for us breakfast. She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. You see, I knew Sean way before Henry Danger. Our parents are close so Rosa would babysit us a lot.

   Anyway, she made us French toast, seasoned bacon and some orange juice. Her food is amazing.

    We rode in my car since it had bigger space for us and our bags. So it was me and Riele at the front, Sean and Ella at the back.

   "Hey, can I use the aux cord??"...Ella asked.."Yeah sure, here" I said while handing it to her. The song that came on was Riele and I's all time favorite song. Someone you loved by Lewis Capaldi. The chorus couldn't go by without us singing so.....

    Now the day bleeds,
   Into nightfall,
    And you're not here,
  To get me through it all,
     I let my guard down,
   And then you pulled me up,
     I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved......

    As the song ended, I caught Rie staring at me and I just held her hand as I drove with the other. We just smiled and then a flash appeared.

   Of course, it was Ella taking snaps at us. She posted them on Instagram and immediately Riele and I's phones blew up with notifications on our Instagram. Many fans commented like,

@jaele4ever: My ship has sailed 🐾😘

@jaele___: Finally, the wait is over🤗

@jaele_otp: @jacenorman and @rieledowns...when are you telling us the news??

    Yup, those are our dear fans who want Jaele and Chenry to happen so badly. Good thing no one knows about the kiss last night.....

    I just looked at Rie and laughed along with her. Sean and Ella kept reading out the fan comments and everyone was blowing up our DMs...it was funny. Let's see how this day goes.
