"y/n! wassup gurl" your bestfriend, vernon said. you scoffed, "did you didnt see my eyebag up here? i dont have much of sleep"

"why are you not asleep then?" he raised one of his eyebrows. "duh, 'cause im nervous for our test! you are already a smarta*s thats why you look calm" you huffed.

"eyy dont worry about it" he putted his arm around your shoulder. "why shouldnt i?"

"its just a simple test! its not an important test anyway" you shrugged his hads off your shoulder.

"thats why i said you are a smarta*s, and im a dumba*s" you pouted at him.

"aww, yeah you are a dumb. but you are my dumb" he grinned at you. you hitted his side.

"nonsense" you walked away from him to your class. you heard a footsteps behind you. someone caught your hands.

"hey im not joking about it! i like you more as a friend." he admitted. you stopped your movement.

"but vernon, you know that i dont like you more as a friend, right?" you said to him looking up at his eyes since you were short.

his eyes saddened but he tried to covering it up by smile. even he smile, you know he was faking it. "how about we make a bet?" he suggested.

"what kind of bet?" you curiously asked him. "try to make you fall in love with me within 3 weeks. how about that?"

you gasped. "so deal?" he said while taking out his hand for you to shake. "fine. deal" you shook his hand.

he smiled towards you. you were slightly worried about this bet. but its too late to reverse the time since you already deal with him.

he placed his arms around your waist while continuing our walks to class. you tensed up by the skin ship but you had to get familiar to it since it will happened many times.

"jagi, we should go on a date after school" he said casually.

you looked at him, "j-jagi?" your pointed to yourself.

he just hummed, "why? did you not like it? its okay, i have plenty of name to call you like honey, sweetheart-" you instantly cupped your hands towards his mouth before he continue his nonsense.

"jagi is enough" you replied. you were blushing mess right now. you cant even felt your face.

"so how about that?" he suddenly asked.

"about what?" you look at him confused.

he look at you with 'are you really not hear about what i said earlier?' face. "the date after school."

"ouh okay, i'll join you later then" you smiled at him.

he just messing with your hair before walked in the class with you whining about your hair.

«after school»

"lets go!" vernon said while linking his arm with yours. you just looked at him like you saw a ghost. "what?" he said with a clueless painted on his face. you shook your head lightly.

"where are we going?" you asked him. "somewhere you want to go" he replied.

"then, can we go eat first?" you patted your empty stomach since you did not eat much earlier at lunch.

"whatever you said honey" he smirked. he know that you dont like the cute names he gave. it's not like you don't like it, it's kind of embarrassing to you. you hid your face with your palm.

you felt someone intertwined their hands on yours. of course it's vernon who else here. "you will get used to it. I'll call you that more often. so don't be embarrassed about it" he pinched your cheeks.

you hanged your head low. it's not even a day since the bet he make earlier yet you already felt a things towards him.

am i falling for him too soon? how can he do that? did he have some power on girls?
