part 7 | the party (pt.2)

Y/N POV:

"Y/N!" Rhian says when he sees me and quickly makes his way over to me and embraces me with a massive hug.

"hey stranger" you say smiling and hugging him back.

Although a lot of people suspected that me and Rhian were more than friends, there was nothing more than friendship between the two of us. Rhian and Alex were injured at the same time and when Alex was injured i visited him a lot in hospital, even staying at the hospital overnight, to make sure he was doing ok and had company to keep his spirits up. This meant i saw a lot of Rhian who was in hospital at the same time. He is a really good guy and you both got on really well but when he had recovered and was back on the pitch and you were back in uni you didn't see him much but you had always managed to stay in contact.

We both pull out the hug at the same time.

"How have you been doing?" I ask.

"Good, good. Scored a goal last week!" he says proud of himself.

"i know i saw that! well done" you say smiling.

"thank-" Rhian is interrupted by Christian who comes up to bro hug Rhian.

"How you doing mate" Christian says.

"Good, bro and you?"

"alright i guess" Christian replies.

Grace comes up to us and hands us a cup of alcohol that she has managed to get as we were talking to Rhian.

"and who's this?" Rhian asks politely looking at Grace.

"this is Grace, my best friend. Grace this is Rhian, my brothers best friend"

they both greet each other.

"nice to meet you Rhian" Grace says kindly.

"and you Grace, oh yeah come over and meet the boys" Rhian says gesturing us to come over to where Alex was and a group of other footballers.

"well this is not at all intimidating" i think to myself.

Christian and Rhian lead the way and we approach the group. All of them being football players, i couldn't even deny the fact that they were all very very good looking.

"Ahh here they are! Guys you already know this is" they all greet Christian with a bro hug, showing that they have all met before.

"And this is my little sister, y/n and her best friend Grace" he says introducing us to the group.

i felt so awkward just standing there but tried not to show it and stood as confidently as i could and just smiled.

"no way! she's way too pretty to be related to you Ox" One of them shouts causing the rest of them to laugh. I just stand there trying not to blush and just smile.

Alex rolls his eyes.

"that's Andy" Alex says to me and Grace.

Andy come up to us with his hand out for us to shake. "you can call me Robbo, nice to meet you both" he says with a cheeky smile, clearly a bit tipsy.

i smile and shake his hand and after him each one of them came up to me and Grace and introduced themselves to us.

"i'm Jordan, nice to meet you" the liverpool captain says.

"Virgil, nice to meet you"

"James Milner, nice to meet you both"

"i am Joe, nice to meet you"
