Chapter 2: The Summoning

A/n: Btw, there are spoilers in the story.

"Maybe I'm just tired.. Yeah I probably am.. " Yashiro said facing the mirror (and ohoho it wasn't just any mirror, it was where Mitsuba's boundary was- yes, Kou and Mitsuba be watching her)

After classes, she just went home, did her normal routine and went to sleep

Time skip

After school she hung out with her best friend Himari.

"Hey Ai... Are your ankles ok? They look swollen." Himari told her with a pitiful face. Bringing it up out of nowhere

"Y-Y-yeah! I just got in a horrible accident—"

'WILL EVERYONE STOP BULLYING MY ANKLES?!' Ai was internally crying

" uh.. Earth to Ai?? Are you Ok? Sorry is your legs a touchy subject?" Himari said

"PFFFT-"

"huh?!" Ai said. She turned around to see no one. She was so sure she heard a laugh behind her. But there was no one there.

Suddenly, she got another vision. Her head started to hurt again, and this time she saw a boy with bandages all over his body. (she got a vision of the second time she met Natsuhiko, Sakura and Tsukasa. The time they went to nowhere and everywhere, the time when she saw Hanako crying on the floor)

"Y-yugi..?"

"who's Yugi Ai?"

"ahh, it's no one.."

Yashiro let out a sigh and just continued chatting with her friend ignoring the pain

"Hey. Himari.. What if I.."

"what if you what?"

"what if I tried to summon Hanako?"

"......."

"im just kidding! I wouldn't risk it.. I have so many things to lose"

'I don't have that much things to lose.. It's just Himari, my house, and freedom. My parents already left me' thought Ai

"why do you ask though?"

"I've been experiencing some pain, but I'll check it out with the doctors.."
'not that doctors would help.'

"ahh, ok"

BRINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

"There's the bell, I have to pick up my sister. Cya, Himari!"

"Bye, Ai!"

After Ai left, she went to the 3rd floor, 3rd stall, in the abandoned building, womens bathroom

Knock knock knock

"Hanako-San, Hanako-San, Are you there?"

Suddenly, Ai felt like she's done this before and begins to remember.
At this point, she remembers everything until after she left the place called,

"nowhere and everywhere" she starts to groan in pain. She put her hands on her head, she was shaking like she never shaked before, and felt like she was going to collapse. It was the price of remembrance, the pain was the consequence..

"I'm here." she felt something cold touch her shoulder

"h-hi, Hanako-kun.." she said, with tears in her eyes the pain was hard to deal with, but she kept fighting it.

"Y-Yashiro?! Woah, are you ok? Why are you crying?"

"H-hanako-kun.. It hurts.. It hurts so much."

"what hurts? YASHIRO!!"

Ai had collapsed and woke up in 10 minutes. She found herself laying on the window side, Hanako's favorite spot

"crap, I have to pick up my sister.. Sorry, Hanako. We just reunited, but I have to pick up my sister"

Ai left to pick her sister up, she had to pick up her sister, as it was getting late.

"Yashiro's finally back.. And perhaps reborn. But why does she remember me? Did she..."

"Make a wish?"
