Lucifer's Daughter (Lucifer Fanfic)

Chapter 3

Third Person POV

Age 3, Ariel was talking a little more now and was a bit more hyper but now she had Elek, Elek was there when her father wasn't and he was always gentle with her and played with her. The first time they met Ariel didn't want to be left alone with him so Lucifer stayed with the two to see how well Elek would do with Ariel and after an hour Lucifer managed to leave without a fuss from Ariel who was happily playing with Elek's hair. It was a given she liked hair, she always played with Lucifer's or Maze's hair when she got the chance and now she played with Elek's.

By the time Lucifer came back to put her to bed she was already sound asleep with Elek beside her bed watching her until Lucifer came. Lucifer was impressed and surprise yet wanting to take the life he gave the demon away. He felt sort of jealous seeing as up until now only Lucifer was able to get the girl to sleep. Once he was excused and Lucifer was looking at his daughter Elek waited outside the door being a guard making sure no one entered the room.

And like that now a year later that same demon is one of Ariel's favorite much like Lucifer who was very tempted sometimes to kill the demon. 

"Elek!" Ariel said happily when she saw him walk in causing the demon to smile at her taking her in his arms as she giggled.

"Hello princess." He said kissing her cheek making her giggle and hug him.

"I have to go now Ariel." Lucifer said walking to the demon as Ariel smiled at her father nodding before extending her hands for him to carry her and hug her which he happily did.

"Be good for Elek sweetheart." Lucifer says kissing her head before handing her to Elek who smiled at the little girl who grinned at him as her wings flapped behind her quickly excited making Elek chuckle.

"So what do you wanna do princess?" He asked her placing her on the carpeted floor but Ariel extended her hands back up for Elek to carry her, she was very clingy to Elek and loved to be in his arms.

"You want me to carry you? But you'll become spoiled Ariel." He said looking down at the girl who pouted at him stomping her foot on the ground before walking to the book shelf that had books to be read to her about different things, old English, colors, numbers, animals.. but her favorite? Was Beauty and the Beast or Rapunzel both Disney versions of course.

"You want me to read to you?" He asked and she nods making him sigh walking to her and bending to her level grabbing her shoulders.

"I want you to talk to me ok? You're in the age where you need to learn how to speak properly so I want you to practice with me to surprise your father ok?" He says sweetly and she nodded he smiled a little before taking a book with illustrations showing basic words for her to start reading even though she was young Elek wanted her to start speaking more rather than just showing what she wanted or saying a few words here and there. Sure she knew colors and knew how to count to about 50, knew all the letters and stuff like that but she was so used to just showing what she wanted or nodded she didn't really speak even though she could.

"Come here." He says picking her up and taking a seat on the racking chair with her on his lap placing the book on her lap holding it with his hands to keep her in place.

"From now on I want you to read a little yourself ok? I'll point to a word and I'll read it to you and I want you to repeat it ok? If you don't know what it means tell me and I'll explain it for you." He said and the little girl nodded as they started they wasted quite some time while doing that and at some point Lucifer came back surprised to see Ariel still awake sitting on Elek's lap as he pointed to a word on the book.

"Well isn't this a sight." Lucifer said causing the two to look at him.

"Hello sir." Elek says as the little girl in his arms beamed at her father.

"Daddy!" Ariel says happily extending her hands to him making him smile taking her away from Elek.

"How are you princess?" He asks as he kisses her cheek and she giggled.

"Good! Elek was teaching me how to read!" Ariel said happily as Elek chuckled.

"I though we agreed to keep it a surprise from him." Elek said causing Ariel to look at him guiltily making both males chuckle.

"Sorry." She says as Elek shook his head walking to Lucifer petting the little girl.

"It's ok princess. I'll be leaving now." He says and the girl pouted before yawning making him chuckle.

"Sweet dreams." He says as the girl's eyes closed falling asleep just like that.

"You're doing an awfully good job." Lucifer says looking at Elek questionably almost glaring doubtfully at the demon. 

"You made me for her sir, I am her protector and care taker. It's my responsibility along with your own to teach her about everything since she won't be going into the human world until a long time. It's my job to entertain her and be by her side at all times, be anything she needs me to be." Elek says and Lucifer glared not wanting to ask the question but needing to know the answer.

"Do you love her?" Lucifer asked and for the first time Elek hesitated making the devil raise a brow.

"Don't you dare lie to me." Lucifer says and Elek sighed before nodding.

"It's hard not to love her sir.. I'm sure you already figured that out." Elek says and the devil sighed knowing full well it was true.

"Imagine her as a teenager or adult, she's gonna break hearts or tempt them." Lucifer said before moving placing the girl on her crib giving her the black teddy who she hugged tightly.

"I want you to answer something and answer honestly because if you lie I will kill you." Lucifer said as he placed the blanket over her body as she sleeps comfortably.

"Yes sir." Elek says now getting a little nervous.

"If in the future she asks you to date her, to be her lover.. will you?" Elek froze, he hadn't even thought about that and Lucifer noticed his expression knowing Elek doesn't really know the answer himself.

"I don't know sir, but if you wish for me to say no then rest assured I will not go over your order even if she does ask me." Elek says and Lucifer sighs.

"For now that answer is correct. But if she really does fall in love with you I expect you to treat her like the queen she is. If you break her heart your life will be taken away from you, and if someone else breaks her heart and she doesn't tell me I expect you to tell me so I can take care of it." Lucifer says making Elek chuckle as the devil looked at him raising a brow as if asking what was funny and Elek shook his head.

"Nothing sir, just the fact that I'd like to join you on taking care of it." Elek says and the devil smirked new admiration for the demon in front of him.

"Well said." The devil said as Elek bowed and left the room for Lucifer to admire his little girl.
