Chapter 1 - Getting Ready

**Sophia's POV**

"Please! PLEASE!! Can we go?" asked Emma while jumping around everywhere.

"No." I said while I held her down.

"C'mon Sophia please!" Emma begged.

"Why do you want to go to this stupid concert so badly? Who is this kid anyways ... I bet he's just another wanna be Justin Bieber!" I said crossing my arms not really wanting to go to this stupid concert that she had been begging me to go to for days.

"Why I want to go to this concert so badly is because, well umm who wouldn't, besides you! I mean AUSTIN MAHONE'S performing and ROBERT VILLANUEVA is going to be there!! And no he's not another wanna be Justin Bieber, so stop saying that!" Emma said angrily pointing a finger towards me.

"If it will make you shut up I'll go okay!" I said giving up. I knew that she wouldn't stop. I mean it was just a concert so it shouldn't be that bad, right?

"YES!! Omg finally victory!" Emma said as she ran off to only God knows where.

Hey! I'm Sophia, Sophia Madeline Valentin. I was 16 when I lived in Peabody, Massachusetts with my mom and basically my best friend Emma, Emma Marie Anderson, she's 16 too. I was in LOVE with One Direction and she was in LOVE with a kid named Robert Villanueva and didn't stop listening to this kid Austin Mahone's music. (I had no idea who these kids were at the time, but she didn't stop talking about them and it was so annoying). I was only 5'2 and Emma was a little taller than me standing at 5'3. I had a dog named Fluffy and she was the cutest! I'm half Spanish and half Italian and Emma was full Italian. I have blue eyes and Emma had hazel eyes. I always envied her for that. Emma was studying to get her permit and I was just going to wait a little longer to get mine. I was as single as a person can be and Emma on the other had convinced herself that she was going out with Robert. I had long dark caramel hair that went down to my waist. Emma's hair was blonde and went down mid back.

As soon as I went home I said hi to my mom, grabbed a snack and rushed up stairs. I went to my room and did my homework. My room was pretty big I had my own bathroom too. I couldn't wait to have a nice hot shower! I just love it when the hot steaming water hits my back. I don't know why but it just seemed to relax me. I washed my hair did my girl duties and got out. I liked to air dry so I just sat on my bed with a towel on and decided to text Emma.

To: Emma

Message: "Heey Gurll!"

A couple minutes later I noticed how tired I had been so I put on a pair of gray shorts from PINK and a plain pink t-shirt. I heard a buzzing and I swore I thought I had seen a bee earlier so I knew there was definitely a bee in my room. I heard the buzzing again I started freaking out. I HATED bees, and I knew it was trying to sting me, but I couldn't find it! I got one of my sandals and looked under my bed and started swinging like crazy. Then I got up and heard it again. So I guess it wasn't there and I just started to swing every where all over my room. I got dizzy from swinging everywhere and ended up tripping over my own feet and fell. I fell on top of something and it started buzzing. I jumped up and threw my sandal at it without hesitation. Then I saw that it was my iPhone. So I just did all that for nothing.

Message: "Heey! What's up?"

To: Emma

Message: "When is this concert thing?"

From: Emma

Message: "It starts at 7pm, but I wanna get there earlier at maybe 3? So we can get front row! And it's tomorrow at Tops Field Fair."
