A hiker walking in the Mason Rose Park along a concrete sidewalk would find ashes with some things looking like bone fragments and a tooth. Forensic experts would take a vessel out of the tooth and extract DNA from it, and then using the previous samples from Elijah Hay they were able to test it and it was biologically similar. They would also find another discovery. Parts that seemed like they came from a fire pit were found. Another search at the house revealed in the backyard there used to be a fire pit, investigators would go to where the fire pit used to be, and there was 2 bone fragments and some ashes. All bone fragments where tested for being human, they tested positive, also the bone fragments turned out to be from the skull of a human that was between the age of 12-15.With enough evidence against Elijah Hay, he was arrested for the murder of Oliver Hay.
