So there was the soldier poet king meme that I planned to do a couple months ago, I got somewhere with it then kinda lost interest in it, but then I regained motivation and finally finished it!
Characters are Rockheart, Cal and Duststar.
(Extras include Hareleap, Quailkit, Spotkit, Piperkit)
Rockheart's flower are;
Yellow Rose: symbolising undying love, how he continued to love Hareleap even though she moved onto Pigeonfrost.
Borage: symbolises courage of him standing up to Dustblaze.
Cal's flowers are:
Eglantine Rose: symbolises a "wound that needs to be healed" - the quarrel between Cal and Duststar has gone on for too long.
Rainflower: symbolises atonement - she wants to make up with Duststar, but he refuses to, and "I will never forget you." - implying that she will never forget how close her and her brothers were.
Duststar's flowers are:
Thistle: symbolises endurance, he's a good fighter and can hold his own. Nobility - when he was a young warrior Stalkstar used to think him as honourable and fierce.
Mint: symbolises the suspicion that cats had (like Mistflower) about Duststar's attitude.
Tansy: means, "I declare war on you." Symbolises the bitterness that Duststar has held towards Cal.
