I looked up from my laptop staring at the women in front of my door.

'' Um, hello, and who are you if I may ask?''

The women stood leaning against the door frame her arm crossed across her chest. She stood five foot eight in heels, her long curly black hair layed in the middle of her back, her brown eyes stared into mine as a small smirk played on her lips. She looked mixed maybe, but I'm not too sure.

She leaned off the door frame walking into the room.

  "I hope I didn't scare you, " she chucked.

"My names Adel. "

I looked at her not really knowing what to say. I mean, I was stuck on what she said she had just called me not long ago.

"Nice to meet you Adel, but why are you here again? Did you need something, are you knew? "

A smile tugged at her lips as she chuckled at me as if she had other things on her mind.

 "No, I don't need anything. See I'm your new manager. They didn't tell you at the meeting that I would be stopping by?''

 I glanced away from her thinking, they said something at the end of the meeting, but I wasn't paying attention my head was licked in on the files in my hand.

"Honestly I don't think they did" I shook my head before turning my attention back to her. " But again I was trapped in my head at the end if the meeting when they started going on about something, maybe it was them talking about you?"

I ran my hands through my hair "if they did tell me and I would have been listening of course, I would have asked if you we're the new manager when you walked in and greeted you properly," I said a nervous giggle following after me.

She nodded her head making her way over to the seat in front of my desk and sitting down in her deep red dress that fit her perfectly if I may add.

"It's fine no need to worry that pretty little head of yours, " I nodded at her as she watched me. We stayed in silence for a few seconds as her eyes stayed on mine.

"Do you have any plans tonight, if I may ask of course? "

I looked at her for a while not really knowing what to say.

"Um yes,I do actually," I said that with complete assurance that I was, maybe know she'll go away so I can finish my work. Not to sound rude I don't mind talking, but I have a lot of work to do and I should really get moving on it, before someone barges in with there issues that I have to fix. She seemed to get it when she looked down at all the files and books stacked on my desk as well as my laptop.

She looked back up at me nodding her head. ''Well I'll leave you too finish your work, seems you have a lot to do. I'll be back later to check in on you incase you need anything."

I nodded my head " of course."

She stood from the chair making her way over to the door before turning again a small smile on her face" have a good evening Macey," I smiled back at her as she made her way out of the room.

I sat there for a moment thinking did they bring this up at the meeting? I mean if they did I don't think I would have realized. Maybe they brought it up in the beginning before the meeting started, if so I was still thinking of the conversation I had with Mason earlier today and if they brought it up at the end of the meeting my head was already in the files. I wasn't listening to anything after that. I brought the file from earlier back in front of me opening it and glancing at my laptop every once in a while. Maybe they didn't bring it up at all?

I shook my head away from the thoughts as I started to focuse my attention on the papers in front of me. I have a lot to do I can think about this later.

Before I knew it, it had gotten dark outside. I stood putting books on the shelves as I finished most of my work today. I had a few files left, but it's not as much as I had earlier today. I moved over back to my desk packing my things up when I heard a knock at the door before someone stepped in.

"Hello princess. "

I could recognize that voice from anywhere. I looked up to see Mason walking in the room. I smiled at him as I ran over to him jumping in his arms and attacking his face with kisses. He chuckled at me "hello little doll. "

My smile grew wider as I kisses his cheek once more " hi daddy, I missed you so much" I practically yelled.

"I was just getting my last things ready to go. "

''Eager to leave all ready, huh?'' He looked down at me with a slight smirk as he sat me down on the ground.

"Yes I am actually, today has been a long day and I was supposed to leave earlier, but there was just so much to do. That and I have a new boss and another project I got that like thirty minutes ago, but I'll just do that tomorrow because I am exhausted," I sighed.

He leaned over on the chair in front of my desk as I started packing the rest of my things.

"Sounds like you had quite the day," I looked up at him and nodded.

"I did, but everything just got even better, because you're here now, " I smiled.

He moved over to me a smile spread across his lips " as it should be. "

He grabbed the side of my face pulling me in for a kiss before moving back.

"Come on, let's get going, " I nodded as I grabbed my things as we made our way out of the room. I closed and locked my door behind me as we made our way down the hall. We we're just about to turn a corner when I heard someone calling my name. I looked back to see who it was, Mason followed my movements.

''Leaving so soon,'' Adel said playfully.

I smiled lightly at her "I've been here for a while and I got a lot done more than I think I should have done today. "

She nodded'' well that's good, that means you won't have as much tomorrow and you can start on the project with nothing else on your mind, work wise of course except."

I nodded "agreed, I want to focuse on that and that only. Don't get me wrong I have a few files left I plan on finishing that tomorrow,but after all my attention will be on the project."

She nodded her head, " I understand, I have no doubt about you," she commented.

"Other than that, it was nice meeting you, you are quiet delightful'' she smiled.

"Have a good night Macey" she winked at me and my cheeks turn a shade out of nervousness and confusion as she walked away.

 I turned to look at Mason as he looked down at me with a smirk his hand now making it's way down to my lower back as I started to walk towards the door. He opened the door for me as we made our way out of the building.

"She likes you princess, " he chuckled.

I looked up at him a slight smirk still on his face. I shook my head, rolling my eyes at him.

"She can like whatever she wants, either way it goes she can't have this beautiful body" I laughed and Mason chuckled as I looked up at him. He looked me up and down taking me all the way in as he licked his lips.

'' I agree with you princess, she definitely can't."
