Ups and downs

So it been two weeks since Dave's mom has been  hospitalized.  At least her eyes are already opened even though she can't speak.  I thought this will make Dave better  but he still wasn't ready to talk to anyone, he went out at night and came back drunk. I don't actually think it only his mom's issue that is bothering him. Everytime I tried to talk to him he was always ignoring me.
Dennis, I and Olva were preparing for our mid session exam but Olva always acted weird around me.
" Ovla, are you ok . You look a bit dull "
" Well am fine and learn to mind your business "
" Olva, that so harsh "
" Dennis am going home"
" That so childish, why did she do that, I didn't do anything wrong "
" Elma,sorry.  I don't know what is wrong with her. I guess I should go and talk to her. Will you like to come to my place to study tonight"
" Sure, I will see you by 6pm"

This was like the first time I was going home myself without Dennis or Olva. A blue sport car parked beside me and I noticed it was Phil,the popular guy.
" Hi, you are Elma right"
" Yh, Elma Thompson "
" Okay do you mind if I drop you "
" Sure "
  Jeez I am entering into Phil's car. Phil and I had a little chat before he dropped me at home. He is a cool guy.
" Bye Elma"
" Bye Phil, thanks for the ride "
" You welcome "
 
I entered the house and I met Dave in kitchen, well I guess he is getting better.
" Good evening Dave "
" Mtchew "
" Dave I only greeted you"
" Slut,you have started hanging out with Phil right. Keep working towards heart break. "
" Seriously so you can actually speak to me now after ignoring me for over a week."
   Dave was seriously annoying this days. He had been sleeping with different girls I didn't even talk to him about it and just because Phil offered to drop me at home he was acting stupidly. It not like we are dating. I left the house for Dennis' after changing my dress. Well I don't know what is wrong but I've been knocking and nobody is opening the door. Until...
" Dennis I have been knocking since "
" Hmm it not Dennis, am Grey; Dennis' brother"
" Oh sorry I had no idea. What of Dennis"
" He is inside with his best friend they are having an argument."

" Hi Dennis, hi Olva"
" Oh Dennis so you have been inviting her over to your house "

Before Dennis said anything,she slammed the door and left
" Do you know what is wrong with her"
" Yeah but it complicated Elma"
" Just tell me, I don't like the fact that she keeps making me look like a bad person "

" That great,you guys should get together "
" But I like someone else, I just want her as a friend "

" I just met her, very pretty and nice "

" Elma,I like you. I know it kind of weird but am serious about it "
   Jeez did Dennis just say he liked me. I am really confused.
" Dennis I don't know what to say but I really need to go"

  I couldn't stop thinking about the scenario at Dennis house. So Olva has been acting weird towards me because of she likes Dennis and he likes me not her,so childish.  I am actually really confused I need someone to talk to.  Bad thing Mia wasn't around,well I guess my mom will be okay. I got home and couldn't find anyone, I then noticed my mom had been calling me. She left a message saying they were at the hospital. I had to go very quick.
" Mom what wrong "
" Elma,Mrs Ailson died this evening "
" Noooooo"
" Elma it ok,don't cry "
" What of Dave and Mason. Are they fine "
" Yes,they are with your dad"
      
    I can't believe Mrs Ailson was dead.  She is a very nice person, I haven't known her for a long time but for the little time I met her she was very lovely.  I just wonder how Dave will act after his mom's death. I just pray he gets better.
