The clock was ticking.

It was so close to being a disaster and the one question was could he stop it.

He didn't believe in his own ability enough. He was sure he couldn't do something of this caliber.

I mean the job was to stop an exploding bomb, how is that possible.

He froze, he was exhausted, He gave up. He shut his eyes. He sealed himself away from the light and succumbed to the darkness.

It was so quiet in here he thought to himself, The darkness responded to him holding him in her arms just like a mother would.

He was happy he couldn't hear the voices anymore, yes no one depending on him, he couldn't feel the pain anymore his heart was finally his. But still, he felt empty inside.

He couldn't begin to comprehend what he felt because he didn't understand it himself. He was so happy here but so sad at the same time.

Gradually the voices were coming back and with it the expectations everyone pushed down his throat, they were like shackles that he couldn't break free from no matter how hard he tried.

Time was shortening, he needed to stop it immediately but the chains wouldn't allow him, what if, what if, what if, what if he went out there and disappointed everyone including himself, just the thought of it sent shivers down his spine, it frightened him.

He could hear Cauldron calling out his name, he wanted to answer he desperately did but no matter how hard he shouted. His voice could no longer be heard.

He wondered to himself whether this is what not existing feels like. All the sadness people feel when you go, all the sadness you feel when you leave them behind.

The shackles on his arm tightened making a grip he couldn't possibly escape from.

He sat in the dark room, his hands and legs tied down to the ground, it was hopeless he still couldn't forgive himself for the first time he messed up. He got to over confident and his power stopped for a nano second and that's all it took for the one person he cared about the most to be killed.

10.44

Cauldron's voice got louder and louder until he could hear it loud and clear.

"Your just gonna give up, what would Lisa think of this"

He was startled, hearing that name once again felt worse than death, his one grave mistake which haunts him everyday of his life. Making his waking up and going to sleep a living nightmare.

10.45

A few more minutes and this would all be over but did he really want it to end this way, wasn't he the one who called himself the prodigy hero, didn't he say he'll save everyone of them, didn't he say that.

Then why, why can't he move, why cant they hear him, why couldn't he tell them he was sorry.

"Its not your fault!!"

The shackles were broken off, he was free from everything, he was free from the one thing that held him back. The guilt but he never threw away the guilt instead he embraced it.

His eyes finally opened, the light gleaming with radiant rays of colour, he looked at his hands he could finally see them and now there was remaining only one thing to do. Be the Hero.
