3. In the Blink of an eye

I open my eyes, dazed and confused of what the hell just happened, I mean wasn't I just with bicep king and what's his face were did all the side characters go. Don't tell me they've completed their mission and dropped me here for the mad scientist boss who hired them to come torture me.

I got up afraid that my imagination would become real and as I try and get up the door opens. I drop back immediately to the bed and act as if I'm asleep.
Cauldron and Sin both walk through the door and see me lying the ground but don't make any comment. They stand there looking at me like creeps "I knew I shouldn't have watched the prison movie" now my train of thought is screwed up.

I stand up and breathe a breath of fresh air, there's no mad scientist and these guys probably won't rape me.

"So what happened before with the bad guys." As I finish my sentence, I rub my neck.

"Well-." Cauldron stared off into the distance and by distance I mean he stared at the wall to his right and started a flashback.

Yesterday, at 10.52pm (Flashback)

Target rushed at Cauldron and Sin sending multiple implosions as he ran, Arch who was behind him flew into the air and shot four blasts of crimson energy towards us.
Cauldron wasn't worried because his ability allows him to negate any power he touches but only if he touches it. The implosions were invisible and can vacuum anything it comes in contact with.

They fled back, Cauldron held my neck a little but tighter and I immediately fell unconscious. God I'm pathetic. Sin's power of guilt only works if he can get his opponent to answer a question or reply to him, so until then all he could do was dodge alongside Cauldron. The four blasts of crimson energy sent towards them were negated when Cauldron touched them. It was enough for now but Targets power was still a problem.

"So Target know any jokes." Sin tried to get Targets answer but was let down when he didn't answer. He brought out his blaster, his second weapon just in case a situation like this ever happened. The goal was to run over to Arch and blast him down from the sky but then its always easier said than done.
Sin ran towards Arch with every step he took the ground behind him disappeared and if he slowed down even a little bit there was a chance his leg would be imploded right off, He was reaching Arch but with his situation he had to blast while running. He looked through the scope targeting Arch's torso about to go for the shot and then immediately he shot, but nothing happened. He felt no recoil of the gun, nothing at all. He looked out of the scope and half of the gun was gone. It had been imploded clean off.

Target shot some more implosions towards Cauldron but with Cauldron running it was hard to hit the.....Target. Oh that's priceless. Cauldron dropped my light unconscious ragdoll body and jumped high at Arch and punched him down to the ground, Sin rushed out of his hiding spot and held Arch to the ground. Cauldron ran towards Target with a punch and he dodged, Target immediately retaliated with his own punch which landed on the right cheek of Cauldron and followed by the punch was an un-dodgeable implosion so close that in less than a nanosecond Cauldron would be dead.

Cauldron took the punch and immediately grabbed Target's right hand right before the implosion was shot and negated the deadly vacuum blast, he had a feeling of what Target would do and was surprised he would have actually done it.
"You could have killed me." Cauldron shouted at Target both of them still in a clinched position like boxer's.
"Well Boohoo." Target snapped back sarcastically and bended down and swept Cauldron of his feet and as big stuff went off his feet, he stood up quickly and kicked Cauldron in the rib cage kicking him to the side of the street and into the door of a house.

"Well that's finished." Target looked at Sin and threw and implosion towards him. Sin jumped off Arch and Arch immediately phased through the floor and came back up behind Target.

"Why didn't you escape sooner." Target asked Arch.

"He was kinda cozy." Arch replied and stretched out.

Target grabbed my lifeless body and started walking away. He stopped and bent and was lucky, a table was thrown at him and it crashed into the house opposite him. He turned back and was furious, he immediately started shooting out blasts of Implosion's towards where the table thrown from and immediately he stopped.

How he stopped was eerie it was as if he was scared, Cauldron walked out of the building even after receiving so many implosions which was enough to floor a whole skyscraper down to the dust it was made from. Cauldron's right eye was blacked out and his left one was shining purple. In a split second he raised his leg, the next second both Arch and Target were kicked a two miles away and the next second all the buildings within the area were roofless.

Currently, 9.42am.

"I'm really finding it hard to believe that story, I mean you tightened your grip and I fainted." I snapped after hearing the story and made no other comments.

"Well, its time for you to meet the boss." Sin told me.

I shivered, I wasn't ready to meet this boss what would he be like, big, muscular, bass voice and likes shouting for no good reason like the commander in every army movie.... I was probably over thinking it~
