"Wow, that guy is super hot!" Sam squealed. She was sitting in the cafeteria with Avery, commenting on all the guys. Avery had lost interest and was reading her book, she was at a really exciting part. She was speeding through it. 'And when it seemed that all hope was lost' she read to herself, 'A new sound filled the air as Liam returned with the rest of the Mysian, Shaina called to him "Liam, you did it, you"-
"Averyyy!" Sam complained.
"Sorry, it's just so good, what were you saying?"
"I said that that blond dude over there is the one I've been obsessing over all year." She sighed, "He is so cute, especially his adorable hair, but I bet he doesn't even know my name."
Avery looked in the direction Sam was pointing and, what do you know, it was the worm himself, talking and laughing along with another guy. Avery made a face, "Ew, that guy?"
"Why? Do you know him, or have you talked to him? You should totally introduce me!"
"Um, no way, not gonna happen, nu uh."
"Please Ave, pretty please?"
"Ughhh, come on." Avery got up and beckoned for Sam to follow her.
They walked up to Nick's table, Avery in the lead with Sam following, looking totally nervous.
"Hello Nick, this is my friend Sam, Sam this is Nick. Okay you've met, lets go." Avery started to walk away but Nick stopped her.
"Wait, would you guys like to talk with us?"
No, no she would not. But before Avery could answer Sam cried "Totally!" and sat down right next to him. Avery groaned inwardly and sat.
"So" Nick said, "You girls have any plans for this weekend?"
"Oh no, nothing at all." Sam blurted.
"Great, then maybe we can all hang out on Saturday, us and James" Nick replied, gesturing to his friend, now labelled as James.
"Sure, we'd love to!" Sam wasn't even letting her have a say, and it looked like Avery had to go along now. Nick, Sam and James continued making plans for Saturday so Avery pulled out her book and continued reading.
