Life is Ruff...

Growing up in the city isn't the easiest life. Well if you get past the traffic, crowds, and loud noises I geuss it isn't half as bad. Living in the Shady Gloom Apartment Building sounds like a joke to be honest, no one is shady or gloomy, the exact opposite. The parties here were fun at least. The hotel was cheap, of decent quality, and the empty rooms always ment you'd have no trouble finding a spare spot to get friends to move in nearby. The hotel was only 7 levels, and a basement. Me and my sister, adoptive of course~ XD Worked and maintained the hotel. I was head manager and I was also a custodian so I could always get a laugh in the halls with the BEGON THOT! Sonya my younger sister was very ambitous and was second in comand, she liked to help as a receptionist and as the hotels cook. Breakfast only of course, others had to pay extra for lunch or dinner which I helped to cook. I being the lazier one slept through breakfast so helping cook normally was a rare option in the early hours of the morning. The best part was I had the custodian closet next to the drink machine, so I could always grab a deit coke in my off hours or during break. The dining hall was made to fit around 87 people, though only about 30 actually used it on a regular. The living room was used quite alot more, it was normally messy due to the younger kids and of course the work aholics leaving coffee cups and toys downstairs. The tile flooring was always slippery in here for some reason so I liked to add a few mats to help with the troublesome slips. Becuase having old people relive the I've fallen and I can't get up commercial was bad for business...

Not big with the commotion of daily coming and going most people stuck to the hot tub in the pool room. The pool was kept at a cold yet comfortable tempature, not warm that defeats the purpose. The hot tub had a jacusie (I can't spell lmao) that I loved to turn on while I was in it. Helps my aching joints, pft I sound like an old person rip. Along with the other gym or excerise room, I called it the room of Self Torture, we also had a library courtisy of me, though the anime section was helped out by Sonya. I have a very small choice of books I normally read, but shoot grab a kids picture book and I'd be all set! Mostly why we had such a large collect of cutesy animal books and cartoon themed shelves. Me and Sonya kids at heart forever! Hah, back to the hotel.

We offered rooms with airconditioning and each of the family rooms had a kitchen area where poeple could cook. Our hotel honestly seemed to be very homey, though it was quite obvious the owner our boss right now probably had social distancing problems. I mean I love our boss Mr.Leroy, but geez does he know how to ignore people, but heck give him a bottle of whiskey and bring him to a party, you'd see a whole nother side of him! Sonya loved picking on the way Mr.Leroy was closer to me and her than anyone else, the fact he had even put my name in as the next owner of the hotel was sure-fire that he trusted us. I mean not like I don't already do everything, the money, the jobs, pft Mr.Leroy normally only buys the soda for the drink machine, and he lives off of his profit invested in the market and in the hotel. But, neither of us mind he's more like a brother than we ever had, he was cool, nice, and didn't push us for backstories.

Walking down to my room with my back feeling like complete crap I popped my neck pulling a key from my dirty apron pocket. Unlocking the door Sonya's voice rung from the stairs to the next floor where her room was. "Yo, Lilly don't forget Leroy told us we needed to take a vacation tommarow for a while! SO PACK YOUR BAGS WE ARE GOING CAMPING AND HIKING NO BUTTS!!!", with a small laugh I yelled back, "K, G' night Senpai". She laughed from the door as she shut it leaving me in front of my doorway feeling like I was lonely. "welp, geuss I better shove all of my plushies in a bag, hehehe!", heading into my room rubbing my aching back as I closed and locked it behind me. Not that I don't trust people not to barge in, but I do not enjoy the thought of someone running in on my room of Bendy plushies, squishy animal plushies (#SQUISHMALLOWS RULLLLE), and the fact that my room was adorned in very neutral colors, mostly black, and two greys, a small purple rug in the middle of my living room area. I had a nice ass room to be honest, being the manager had it's perks nontheless.
