D-Day

Yejin's POV

It is a week before my due date and hyunbin has a leave for exactly a month, no office work nor shooting schedules or events. Luckily everyone was considerate of us. We are in our house inside our bedroom. I was laying in our bed when I wanted to stand up and go downstairs to see what I could eat when "You need help?" Hyunbin asked me, he was beside me reading a book. I gave him a faint smile and of course he knew about my request. I am having a hard time standing up myself since my belly is so huge now and I think that anytime soon I might explode, my skin seems so tight. Though I don't really look huge compared to others but I still feel really tight. With my slim physique people often say I look so cute when I'm getting up from sitting or from laying down. Hyunbin held my hand and supported my back to raise my self up. I sat up in the edge of my bedside and he grabbed my slip ons and placed it on my feet. " Hon  let's get something to eat downstairs" I asked him and he nodded. We went to our kitchen and then I sat on the high chairs in the kitchen island as hyunbin checked the pantry and fridge. " What do you want Hon? We have some cake, pastry, macaroons, ice cream, chips...." he informed while scanning the items. " oh!oh! I want some ice cream, a mango one please!!!" I pleased with my puppy eyes as he grabbed the ice cream and a spoon. Hyunbin was off work for 2 days now ,ever since we knew about my pregnancy he's been extra caring and mindful about the stuff I want. He sat beside me and opened the tube of ice cream. He scooped a spoonful of mango ice cream and spoon fed me he also got himself a spoonful. I got the spoon from him and continued eating. He rested his head against his arm that leaned of the center island. He was starring at me with a big smile on his face. " What's with the look? Do I look like an ice cream eating monster?" I asked him still focused on my ice cream. " Aniyaa it's just that a week from now I'll be starring at a Yejin holding a baby already, it just amazes me 9 months went so fast" he said then touch my belly he lowered his head and rested it gently on my belly. " Baby how are you there I'm so excited to see you already. Don't give mommy a hard time okay" he was talking to my belly while soothing it. Then a strong kick appeared "Ommo... did you feel it?" I told him in shocked. Hyunbin just nodded happily. I can feel our baby moving so much inside me. I raised my camisole that showed my bare belly. "Hon look look you can see her hand". I excitedly told hyunbin as the babies hand kinda imprints in my belly. " OHHHH!" Hyunbin was shouting excitedly. " WAHHHHH! It's kinda scary!" He said with shocked eyes. "Eyyyy that's your baby inside there." I said as I was feeling more movements inside me. " I think the baby is really gonna come out soon, I feel more frequent movements these days" I stated while I let down my camisole and eating another scoop of mango ice cream. Then a pair of soft lips landed on my cold mouth. Hyunbin was kissing me. He is literally licking my mouth and tasting the mango ice cream. I mumbled against his lips but he didn't bother at all. My mouth opened a bit, hyunbin grabbed the chance to deepen the kiss. He was French kissing me. He parted his lips from mine. " Yahhh! You got all my mango ice cream" I jolted out like a kid. " Oopss sorry here I'll give you back your ice cream" he got himself a spoonful of ice cream and then ate it. He then pointed his mouth and raised both his eyebrows, his dimples showing up making a mischievous look. Watching him being silly I gave him a mischievous look as a reply. I approached him and hold his nape. I smacked my lips against his. He opened his mouth and I did what I was meant to do, I suck all the ice cream out from his mouth. I parted my lips but he pulled me back. We were kissing nonstop like there is no tomorrow. After a few minutes we parted from each other. I got down from the high chair and put the empty ice cream container and spoon on the sink. I threw the container and then washed the spoon. I felt a pair of arms wrapped my body. He placed both his hand on my belly and stroke it. He leaned his chin on shoulders but got distract by my hair. He gathered my hair on my other shoulder. He leaned to me and gave my neck and shoulders some kisses. "I think I need to cut my hair shorter, I don't want to irritate our baby's skin while I am taking care of her" I said as I face hyunbin. " Oh yeah that's a good idea, I missed your look with short hair, that's my favorite look of yours and plus it reminds me of the time we are still getting close" he said. That day's afternoon we decided to go to my hair salon and have me a fresh look.After getting my hair cut we decided to go shopping for our baby though we do have a lot of things already still we both wanted the best for our little one. We arrived at the baby store, thank god there was only a few people and plus the store is foreign. We got of the car, hyunbin escorted me carefully. As we entered the store ,the store manager assisted us (high profile parents so the manager herself assured them) we were walking in the aisles. Hyunbin was holding me his left hand at my waist. We got a lot of items, we asked the manager to include things in our cart. " Ommo kids nowadays has really a lot of stuff.... right hon" I faced hyunbin who's busy reading all the baby things and asking the manager what is it's purpose. After asking he would immediately tell the manager that we will be getting it. " Aniyaa we already have that, I bought one last week when me and your mom went shopping together" I informed him. "oh maybe we will need another one incase" he answered back. " we won't, trust me" I told him and ask the manager to not include it in our cart. We kept looking around until we arrived at the clothing area.My eyes balled out when I saw cute pink onesies and dresses. " Wow this looks clean, I think this would be a really comfortable everyday wear for our baby" I talked to hyunbin and he smiled cheeckly while nodding his head. "Uhmm excuse me, we'll get 14 pairs of these, and can we have it in different colors?" I asked the manager who's talking to her assistant who's checking our cart list on the iPad. " Yes maam , we could even customize it with your baby's name" she informed me. " Really! Then I'll make it customize then." I stated. " Uhmm can I have your baby's name?" She asked us. I looked at hyunbin and eyed him " Hon tell her the name of our little princess" I let my husband decide our baby's name though he keeps insisting that we'll name her both but I told him that I wanted him to have a deep connection and contribution to our baby so he decided a name of our baby girl. " Hwayoungie .... Kim Hwayoung..... H.W.A.Y.O.U.N.G" he told the manager even spelling it out. " It means beautiful flower since her mother loves flowers and of course she is amazingly beautiful" he said that made me blush so hard. I just chuckled and laugh though he told me already what he decided still it gives so much joy to me even just hearing her name.  After a while we finished shopping, hyunbin signed some papers for delivery and wired the payment. " Maam sir your purchase will be all delivered tomorrow 10 in the morning" the manager informed us. We made our way to the parking area hyunbin was carrying some shopping bags with some of the items that doesn't need to be delivered such as the milk biscuits. As we were walking and talking we bumped into our close friends together with their 1 year old son. "Hyojin unnie it's been a while, it's good to see you" I said as she gave a hug. " Wahh yejinah it's your peak, when's your due date?" She asked me while touching my belly. " Next week, 3 days from now we'll be checking in the hospital" I answered her. We were having a chat while Hyunbin and Insung were also talking. Insung was carrying their son named jaeyeol. " ahh unnie what made you visit the store at this hour?" I asked her since it was almost late. " oppa wanted to buy jaeyeol new toys and plus we need to buy him some gears that he needs, we are planning to have a vacation in Africa" she said. " wahh really, I bet it's exciting" I exclaimed. " ahhh yejinah we better go the store's closing up". " take care! Have a nice and safe trip" I said then bid  goodbye. I waved goodbye to jaeyeol too. We had dinner and went home. I directly approached our bed and laid myself. Hyunbin took a shower right away. As he was done taking his shower and changed into fresh clothes ,he  approached me. " aren't you taking a shower so that you could sleep, you can't sleep like that there are a lot of germs" he nagged at me while I was still laying flat right at the center of our bed "awww I'm too lazy and plus my body's so heavy. Can you bath me PLEAAASEEE!" I pleaded with a cute voice. A few minutes after he lifted me and carried me to the bathroom. He seated me at the vanity. He grabbed my toothbrush and placed a good amount of toothpaste. He made a grin look, and I did the same. He brushed my teeth while making cute mouth expressions. " Brush vertically" he murmured and then grabbed a glass of water and handed it to me. After brushing I displayed my teeth in a very grinny smile that made me look cute. "I always like it when you act this way, makes my caring side appear and want to baby you" he said as he was carressing my cheeks. I smiled and gave him my eye smile too. I raised both my arms and shake my whole body. I was signaling him to take my clothing off me. He jus starred at me and then smirked at my act. " Ahhh paliiiii pleaseeee!" I acted extra cute again. He pulled my top off me that left me with my bra. He leaned over to my belly and kissed it multiple times. I place my hand on his hair and stroke it. Then I felt something wet, it was his tears. I got worried about him " Hon are you okay?" I lifted his chin facing me. As he faced me he wiped the tears that fell from his handsome face " I'm okay, it's just that I'm so happy right now" he silently said. He's been like this since my 7th month of pregnancy when I was starting to struggle to do things on my own. I know deep inside that he kinda feels sorry that I have to feel the pain on my own. Honestly my pregnancy was never easy. Around my second trimester things were not always at its best condition but somehow we faced it with strong will and faith. " I'm just worried that things might complicate during your labor, and you know that I can't stand watching you in pain" he added. "Aniyaaa I'll do it bravely, I know you are worried but hey that's always part of the process" I told him with an assuring look. My eyes got watery. " Yah yah! Don't cry, I didn't mean to make you sad" he laughed lightly while cupping my cheeks. I gave him a shy smile. "Hmmmmmm! Strip me fast please, I already feel stuffy" I demanded and he gladly did. He gave me warm soaking bath. After my bath we prepared ourselves to sleep.
