A long time ago, so long ago that no one can remember, no tree nor rock can remember this tale. The story of Alice Furorem, the young, insanely odd, adopted child. The young adult has drifted off to sleep as she listens to the noises of the night that fill the little town of Blackpool and her little room inside the Blackpool sanctuary. Her room was a pleasant off-white, almost a tan color for her walls, a lovely carpet made of wool from the sheep in the farm nearby. As she lays on her bed, made with soft linen sheets and her warm wool blanket, her lucid dreaming mind races from all the excitement from earlier in the day filling her dreams with exciting and wonderful images of talking flowers, a big blue caterpillar and a talking rabbit.

Her friend, the one she calls the hatter due to his odd obsession with hats, is sharing the same room with an adjacent bed. While they lay there, Alice wakes up, much to her dismay due to the pleasant dreams she was having. Suddenly she hears the sound of scratching noises on the cobblestone pathway below her window that leads to the Aynor forest. Aynor forest...the forest her parents never told her to go near because of all the wild, vile creatures living in it. It always gave her the creeps. When she looks out the window she is puzzled by what she sees, a white rabbit with what looks like a small doll that looks like herself. She ponders why the rabbit would have such a doll..to her knowledge, rabbits don't usually play with dolls, only eat carrots and alfalfa all day while being adorably fluffy! She giggles at the idea of the rabbit owning a doll. She muffles her girlish giggle as to not wake the others but looking around the room, there is no one else in the room with her. Quite odd given it was almost midnight as the clock slowly ticks on.
