Heather is the alpha to the Green Rock pack. With many suitable mates available it should be easy for her to find a partner right? The problem is that none of them feel right. She's too tall for any of the suitors, even the male ones. All the males are too dominant, trying to be the top dog in the relationship. The females too adoring. So she goes into the nearby town looking for a relaxing spot to, well, relax. So when she comes across a bookstore with a shop owner smelling like freshly baked brownies, she's sure, he's the one.
