Thiel: As a friend? Sister? Potential girlfriend?

I don't know, Thiel.

Sorry kung hindi kita mabigyan ng concrete answer.

Hindi ko pa rin talaga alam.

Do I like her? Yes.

Do I care for her? I do.

But I don't know if that "like" is enough to pursue her romantically.

She just got her heart broken.

I don't want to carelessly send mixed signals and confuse her.

That would be too cruel.

Thiel: Hmm.

And I don't think being in another relationship is what she needs right now.

More than anything, she needs the time to heal on her own so she can start loving herself again.

I think most people tend to forget that  they should also be taking care of themselves.

But I guess we lose our fair reasoning as soon as we start devoting ourselves to someone.

Well mahirap naman talaga na iwasang ibigay mo ang lahat ng kaya mong ibigay sa mahal mo.

Ten needs to take a step back to fully recover and gain back her confidence.

And Ten is still young so she can take her time.

Thiel: You're only 4 years apart.

But she's still in college.

Once she graduates, lalawak pa ang mundo niya.

She would want to explore and experience a bunch of new things.

Even if I do end up loving her, I want to give her enough the time to discover what she really wants in life.

Thiel: What if she ends up liking someone else in the process?

Then, I guess it's just not meant to be? 😅

Although I will always be there for her in case she needs a confidant.

Or if she just needs an escape.

I'd be more than happy to take care of her and cheer her up.

Thiel: Hmm.

Thiel: Make sure to set clear boundaries.
