My Glory Days - Perrie Edwards

Perrie's P.O.V.

So today is my first date with Alex and I'm so nervous. It's been so long since I've been on a date but I'm feeling good about this one.

As I'm waiting inside my house I start to think about the pros and cons of getting into a relationship right now. Should I just let my heart to as it pleases or be precocious.

Barely having any time to think I hear my doorbell ring. I start to walk to the door and as it opens I see Alex holding a bouquet of peonies.

Well there goes my ovaries.

Seeing Alex dressed the way he is makes me smile at him and he just smiles back and it makes my heart flutter.

"I didn't know what kind of flowers she liked so I got a peonies preferably pink."Alex says as he hands me the Bouquet and I just smile like an idiot. As I grab the bouquet Alex leans in to give me a kiss on my cheek and I turn my head and he accidentally kisses my lips.We both put back in shock.

"I'm so sorry I was going to kiss your cheek as well." I said covering my mouth with my hand and he just smiles laughing up at the situation.

"That's all right as long as we got our first kiss out-of-the-way one less thing to be worried about." Alex says. When he says this it makes me feel so relieved and giddy at the same time.

I tell him to step inside and follow me to the kitchen while I put the flowers in a vase. As I do this he's looking at the house and awe.

"If I knew singing could get me a house like this I would've done it along time ago. "When he says that he starts laughing and looks at me and I just laugh with him.

"Yeah I started singing when I was eight and I didn't know it would leave me here to where I am now. It's just so amazing how things go a different direction after just one small action." When I say this I look up at him and he's already looking up at me smiling.

I never want this to end.

When I finish putting the flowers in a vase we start to walk towards the door. When leaving down the steps Alex start talking again.

"So I was thinking about going to the carnival. I just wanted to see if you were OK with it first. I haven't been in years so it would be nice to reminisce. how about you." Alex says all this while leading me inside the car opening the door for me.

What a gentleman.

When he gets in the car he starts the engine and looks at me waiting for an answer and I just smile.

"Sounds like a plan. I would love to."When i say this we drove off.
