A Winter's Night

Sophia's POV ***

"Darkness. That's first thing I remember. It was dark, it was cold, and I was scared. But then... then I saw the Moon. It was so big, and it was so bright. It seemed to, chase the darkness away. And when it did... I wasn't scared anymore. Why I was there and what I was meant to do, that I've never known, and a part of me wonders if I ever will." The moon lifted me up out from under the ice and set me down on the ground. When my bare feet touched the ice, intricate designs of frost and snow spread on the ground.

My long hair fell of my face. It was like snow. It was in a half up half down prom like style. I wore no shoes, black sequin leggings, and a short, dark blue dress with snowy designs.

There was a wooden cane, tall as me, by my feet. I poked it with my foot and the same frost designs spread over the wood.I picked it up and looked at the frost. I laughed and walked over to the trees. I touched the on on the left, then the right. More frost.

"Ha Ha Ha!"

I dropped the stick and the bottom of it hit the ice. More frost. I drew and skated leaving icy designs. I twirled and spun. I skated really fast, leaving the beautiful designs in my path. A strong gust of wind lifted me up high into the sky. The frost I drew was in the shape of a snowflake.

the wind put me down, or dropped me. I looked back at the moon. I could've sworn it talked. I decided to just pretend it never happened.

There was smoke far off in the distance. It didn't take long to get there, thanks to the wind. It was really hard to fly though. I still can't believe I flew at all. I saw some people and waved as I walked by. I stayed out of there path. No one waved back. I walked in front of a boy.

"Hi, can you tell me where I----" The boy walked through me. I felt nauseous all over. I bent down and held my stomach. I fell to my knees and balled up and started to cry. Once the nausea went away, I picked up my cane and slowly walked over to a tree I saw in the distance. I sat on a branch and held my staff.

Tears stearmed down my face as I tried to sleep, but it was impossible. That feeling, when the boy walked through me scared the hell out of my soul, like my soul just lept out and slapped my emotions and my stomach. It hurt. Not physicaly, mentally...

It was weird, but when a snowflake hit my nose, I felt a little better, happier, like some of my troubles were frozen in place. I smile, glad I could finally sleep...

Jack's POV <3

It's been 100 years since i've become a guardian. I defeated Pitch, and practically saved the world, big deal. What was a big deal was that the moon shone a little brighter today. He spoke to me again too. He said, "Go to the place you became Jack Frost." It was odd, but the moon said to go back to the lake, so I went. There was frost everywhere, but not my frost, snowy frost.

I looked around some more and saw a trail of frost leading to a town close by. I inspected the area. I notice a tree with a girl in it. Snow fell around the tree, only around the tree. She looked just like me, even the staff was the same. I fly closer, careful not to disturb the snow and wake her up. She was sortah staring out and sleeping. She was also crying. I felt really bad for her. I spun a snowflake and blew it towards her. It landed gently on her nose.

She smiled, and drifted off to sleep. I sat criss-cross on my staff while floating. I watched her and saw some gold sand float around. One of the streams of sand flew to her and snowflakes danced around her head. She smiled and blushed. I smiled too.
