[war]

While we were lost in thoughts having staring contest, my mom came in and we were quick to separate.

I flushed so hard and yet nothing seemed to affect him.

‘Ah War you came back already’

‘Y-yeah, I ran home before it started to rain heavily’

‘Who is he?’

‘oh right. He was soaked with rain and sat in front of our shop, so I called him in’

‘Is that so? Did you make him tea? He seemed to be cold’

‘No..but I made him Ramen..Would you like tea Mr Yin?’

He raised his eyes

‘No thank you. Maybe next time. I should be going now’ he replied not leaving my eyes.

‘o-okay…’

‘Thank you’ and then he left.

I watched him walk away until he’s out of view.

‘Do you know him?’ My mom asked.

‘Yes…’

‘He’s the son of our University’s Director’

‘and..?’

‘He’s the CEO of Y Company’

‘and..?’

‘I don’t know how he got here, he was just sitting beside our shop’

‘You sounds like you did something and then you’re explaining yourself’
My mom laughs

‘w-what explaining!?’

My mother side eyed me, looking amused.

‘Whaaat?’

‘I didn’t say anything. Do you want to say anything?’

‘Mom, what do you want me to say?’

‘I don’t know, don’t you have something to tell me?’

‘No’

‘So when do you plan to tell me?’

‘I don’t know what you’re talking about’

‘You like him’

‘w-what are saying?’

‘You like him, don’t you?’

‘W-who?’

‘Him. That guy’

‘N-no I don’t’

‘Why are you stammering?’

‘I-I’m not!!’

‘War…my son. I am your mother. I know you well’

‘I said I don’t like him’

‘Okay sure, you don’t like him’

My mom smirks at me. She sure knows me well. She can read my mind since forever. I could never lie to my mother. She always know everything. I even wondered if my mom is a witch or a supernatural being when I was a kid.haha.

But the perks is that, sometimes when I feel sad or hurt and could not speak, my mom would always be there for me.

I never had to explain myself, she would understand it all.
