It was a day like any other, she steps out of an shopping mall, hands full of bags, looking very satisfied. Once she returned home she quickly went upstairs and tried on the outfits with the maids. Trying on a frilly white dress, she turns arounnd exicted "Maria, how does this look? Does it look good? Or is it too much?" Maria entertains her "it suits you perfectly, you truly have an eye for fashion" she takes a look at the outfit, approvingly "of course i do! I think I'll wear this today!"

She goes downstairs, stopping in her tracks, spotting a plate of chocolates on the dining room table; with a note attached. "Just made them, enjoy! -Damien" she tosses the note to the side "well don't mind if I do" she eats a few pieces of the chocolate. a few minutes later she gets extremely ill and collapses. A few hours later Lillian awakens in the hospital surrounded by her parents and maid. she sits up, propping herself up on her elbows "what happened?" the doctor walks in "you were poisoned--if you got here a minute later, you would've died" she flops back down in disbelief "....died?" Lillian's father steps in, "Lillian, your mother and I think it's best if we 'go off the grid' for awhile. past attempts we were able to deal with but this came too close our home. I fear next time, the enemy won't miss" she ponders for awhile, staring aimlessly at the ceiling. "We'll give you some time to think about it" with that, they usher everyone out of the room, while the doctor takes another blood sample. A week passes by. Lillian is slowly recovering from the toxins. Her father returns, ready to hear her answer "well? Have you decided?" She nods "i have. I decline your offer." Her father steps back in shock "lillian--" "i refuse to go into hiding because some punk tried to kill me! I'll deal with him on my own! I've already hired some help, he'll be here this evening. " she turns her head, embarrassed at her outburst "i hope you"ll respect my desecion" After a long silence. He finally speaks "As much as it pains me to do so. I will" he leaves shortly after. Alone once again in the room, she flops back onto her hospital bed, mind racing. "Ugh, be quiet!" She says putting a pillow over her face. "Okay." her eyes shoot open, quickly sitting up, seeing an unfamiliar face sitting at the foot of her bed.
