Blair's POV*
I wake up in, what I figured to be, a hospital.
"Hey, B, you're awake", I hear Serena's voice, making me look up at the lightly smiling blonde.
"S, what happened?"
"Louis... he..."
I sigh, trying not to cry when I remembered the events that happened the day before. Serena takes my hand and caresses it. Actually, the support of my best friend made me feel better. I closed my eyes, only to open them again at the voice I so well know:
"Blair?", Chuck barely whispers.
"I'll leave you two a minute."
And so Serena left, letting Chuck take her place.
"Hi", I smile, playing with his hair.
"How are you?", he gets closer to me, clearly concerned.
"I'm fine", I replied, kissing his forehead, "How's the baby?"
Anxiety suddenly hits me. What if I lost my baby? I couldn't deal with any more losses of these kind.
"The baby's ok", Chuck smiles.
His eyes were red and he looked really really tired.
"You should get some rest", I squeeze his hand and he rolls his eyes.
"Really, Blair? You're finally awake and you expect me to sleep?"
3Rd person*
Chuck wanted to tell her how worried he's been this whole time, but to do that to her petite body and soul just didn't feel right.
"What do you mean? Finally awake?"
He didn't really know how to tell her about her 6-days kind of coma.
"You've been asleep for 6 days", Chuck sighed after some time.
"Chuck...", Blair took squeezed his hand again, looking at it, "Don't tell me you've been staying here for 6 days."
But instead of answering, he chose to remain silent. Blair would get it any ways. She got up, hugging him:
"Thank you for taking care of me", his wife whispered as he wrapped his arms around her waist, sighing:
"I just want you to be safe..."
"Hey, look at me, Chuck! I'm fine", Blair protested, seeing his red eyes. "Please, get some sleep and after, we can talk for as long as you want. Or not talk, you choose", she added, grinning. A little smile appeared on Chuck's face:
"Okay, but I'll sleep next to you."
And with that, he made his way in her bed, falling asleep, his head on her chest and his hand on her waist.
