Mother Earths Warning

Is it the end, or just the beginning of it?

Is it brought about by people who don't give a shit?

Is it Mother Nature culling the cause of her demise?

Removing the pollutants from out of her skies?

Whatever the reasons its targeting mankind

Taking the life from the more vulnerable it finds

But who says this disease won't get those who are stronger?

As it stays in our lives for longer and longer

What is certain its not interested in any other breed

It preys on us humans to satisfy its need

So, is this a message that we all need to hear?

As we live in the life with our newfound fear 

Or will we ignore a message that appears to be clear

And lose everything that we have ever held dear

Its not about buying everything we can possibly find

Its about being respectful, grateful and especially kind.

The world is not ours; it belongs to us all

We need to be as one, as divided we will fall

We are only one species, who stands on this rock

We are one small part of a significant flock

So, listen to this message that is significantly loud

Our behaviour is not something for which we should be proud

This message has clearly singled us out

Its surely left us without any doubt

We need to change that is definitely clear

Unless we no longer wish to be here

The planet has lost all of its good will

And developed a virus which is designed to kill

It won't kill us all; we have a chance to decide

We can change our ways or continue to hide

From the virus that's sent as a wake up call

To be kind to the planet, or death to you all.
