A disater strikes

After a hard working day at school, I decided to listen to music so I got my iPod out, Jack Walton was playing and his voice is amazing so is he ( beau doesn't need to know).

Anyways....I was walking home when I got a call from an unknown number so I picked up and it was from the hospital saying that my mum had fainted.

When I got there, I saw patients who had broken arms or had injuries which drew lots of blood. But I ran to the reception and asked Miss Holloway? Room 235 floor 2. I went to the lift but it was packed so I had to take the stairs (ughh).

After reaching the second floor, I found the room. Slowly I entered and found my mom sleeping but was on a drip as she had been weak from not eating anything. My eyes started to tear up, I sat next to her and slowly put my head on her lap.

But as I softly laid my head, my mum stroked my head, I looked at her which made my heart ache not knowing what the issue was, so obviously I thought the worst. "What happened?" I croaked as my voice started to break.

It took a few seconds for her to reply with a big sigh she said "its just been a really stressful day but I don't want you to worry, everything's gonna be fine". "What's wrong?"...I lost my job..." And looked down at her hands with embaressment.

A few things came to mind but I didn't wanna tell her coz it will stress her more so I looked at her and told her not to worry as we'll go through it together. I leaned in to kiss her cheek and tucked her in.

Later that day, she was discharged and I was told that she should rest for a few days and she'll be back to normal. As we got home, I texted Beau hey, mum was in hospital so gotta look after her but don't worry she's gonna be fine x. A few seconds after I got a reply why didn't you tell me but as long as she's OK and so are you x

It was time for her medicines, she took them and fell asleep. I couldn't leave her so I cuddled up to her and kissed her goodnight and fell asleep within seconds.
