First Long Term Quest (1)

In her home, Morning before her departure.

Misuzu is enjoying her breakfast while having mental check ups on everything and make sure that nothing is forgotten, then she checking her status for last measurement and after reading some little notes in there, Misuzu stunned.

'Eeeyyyy yoooo what the fuck, really? First Hero? Faraway Land? HIDDEN BY GODS??? Why i get the feeling that this First Hero is that usual beta guy that got isekai'd and got his harem? This is not there before so why...'

She frowned and grumbled while random clicking on the imaginary screen, hoping something will pop up to explain. But nothing come up, breakfast with her favorite menu is not as tasty as before.

'The meat's become bland....'

After breakfast, Misuzu going out to settle things on her jobs in this village and seeing everyone she knows before she leave. First is Jeanne and her family, then the 'sis' on herbal shop and people on village market, then Craftsman and her daughter, and the last is some friend at guild. Especially Mikasa and Leon.

Then Misuzu's eyes caught their luggage, it looks like they going somewhere far and probably never comeback here.

"Here, a training schedule and shit for dumbass. Don't ever miss it." Mikasa said, handing me a rather thick book.

I blinked "... are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah, gotta clean some mess and we don't know when we meet again so..." Leon pointed at the book on my hand. "If you want to quickly level up yourself as Adventurer and magician please don't skip it."

Damn things gonna be a bit lonely, also i still want to learn more from them.

Mikasa suddenly got closer until our nose almost touched, i flinched but i'm not take a step back. We stare at each other for a while until she smiled "When we meet again, fight me with all you got, Reth, ain't take any bullshit." She said, still smiling. This is a little bit out of topic but she really have an adorable, cheeky smile.

I take a deep breath because of anticipation. "I'm not gonna let you down guys" i look at them, showing my full determination.

"Damn you bet! i'm gonna kick you so hard if you shittin' on me!" Mikasa yelled while she walked backwards and pointing her finger on me. Leon laughed before turned my way.

He sighed "I still hope she changed her way of speak tho. Nevertheless, she is one hell of a girl." i laughed.

Then he hugged me and pat my back, i do the same. I wish i can hug Mikasa too, but she is already gone, geez she walked too fast.

Then he walked away while waved at me.

"Gonna see you in a while, Reth!" 

"Tell Mikasa i'm gonna miss her too!" i shouted

"Definitely!" he shouted back with a smile that too innocent for a playboy like him, he is rather cute like that, honestly. If only....

I imagined that Leon to be innocent and cute... lmao who are you sir?

... sigh

What a nice morning.

The outskirt village where Misuzu and her new family live named Kalaian. Even though it's an outskirt village where the Kingdom's border, it's count as a well protected and well developed village. Because Kalaian is the nearest to the border, the people from the border fortress will go there regulary. But different from the Capital's people, they don't really look down on adventurers and the villagers, rather, they are quite fun to be around and more laid-back.
