I ignored something so bright with the fear that it might harm me, I kept peeking upon it's exquisite form as my eyes constantly avert it's gaze. "The Sun", I thought, I kept my vision from my tiny window gap, staring like I'm a vampire afraid of it's scorching flames. I stepped outside as it hooked me onto it, oblivious to the fact that it was actually what I needed. A warm embrace, a subtle heat that crawled through my body, I woke up realizing it was all just an image in my satisfying slumber. I opened an eye, half asleep, arms wrapped around the symbol of you, "It's just a plush", I murmured, as I slowly hold it tighter. The sun is rising.
The feeling of your affection hits me, I remember your warmth, your arms and your heartbeat,
I closed my eyes for a moment and savor even the tiniest bits of memories from your hugs. I opened my eyes and looked through the window. Im still waiting for the day I'll feel your embrace once more. The sun is still rising, but my sun, is you.
