Izuku woke up from the water that is dripping on him. His eyes open wide and hurriedly drink all the water he could. It tasted somewhat like grass but thought nothing of it. After drinking up his fill. He looked at the space around him and him didn't have enough room to be comfortable.

He looked for the broken sword he used to dig and found it beside his left feet. He breath a sigh of relief that he can dig his way out of here. But there is now way of knowing if the bear is still there or if it gave up and left. He hoped it's the latter. He also didn't know how much he was buried.

Izuku reached for the broken sword to start digging out and noticed that his wounds were gone and replaced by a scar though it's not a big as the wound he got. He looked for any wound but found nothing but scars.

"Could it be my quirk?" he mumbled as he think of many ways of how his wounds heal. 'how long did I sleep anyways?' he thought.

*Drip*

He was brought out of his thinking by the dripping of the water. "Where is it coming from?" Izuku said. Crawling towards it. He drank again and could still taste the grass in it. A thought entered his mind and took the sword and put a small cut on his thumb.

He winced from the cut and soak his thumb in the water. And after about 45 seconds the small cut wound healed. It was slow but he didn't know anything like this exist. He thought that the water that was dripping on him was healing him while he is knocked out.

He looks at the puddle of water and thank it for saving his life. "It'd be a waste if I just left it in here. But I don't have anything to put it in." He sighed and though of the baggage, but is wasn't there with him when he woke up in that cave. He put it aside for now and started digging out.

After 5hrs of digging he was finally able to got out and was relieved to see that the bear left. He also learned that that potion can not only heal him but can also relived him off with his fatigue. That is how he was able to dig for 5hrs straight. Though if he measured the amount of potion left it maybe a half litter left though it still continue to drip.

He looked and the corpse of wolves that was killed by the bear and he can smell the rotting meat from where he is. He didn't feel hungry at all because of the potion. Izuku mentally thanked the potion again that he doesn't have to resort to eating a rotten flesh to survive.

He looked around his surroundings to see if he can recognize it from when he wasn't alone. After a while he finally remembered that he was falling behind because of the heavy baggage that he was carrying and fell down in to a ravine made by the earthquake. How he survived that fall was a miracle.

Sitting down and taking calm breaths he thought of his mother, his sister that must be so worried right now, and his father abroad. Remembering that he has no idea where he was, his heart gradually filled with anxiety. Tears began to accumulate in the corner of his eyes, Izuku is never a crying baby but in this helpless moment he felt like he was about to cry. When he realized when he would fall apart if he started to cry now, he wiped his tears and slapped his cheeks with both hands.

"I can't just do nothing, I must get back to the surface. There's nothing to be afraid of, everything will work out. You always find a ways Izuku, hopefully I don't have to meet those things again." Izuku's face became determined after he muttered some encouragement to himself.
