Today was your monthsary with jaemin and he decided to take you out for a date since both of you just finished applying for the same university.

While you were still getting ready on what to wear, jaemin on the other hand was nervous. He can't think on something to give you. He was stressing. So he decided to call jeno for help

"hey jeno, can you help me on something" jaemin asked as he bits his nails

"yeah sure, I'm guessing it's about y/n?" jeno chuckles on the other side of the line

"yup, I don't know what gift I should give her" he said and walks in circles on his living room

"we all know that y/n will take anything right? Why are you stressing so much?" he chuckled

"I know, but I wanted to give her something special." he said

"damn you really like y/n don't yah? Just give her something that comes from your heart, or maybe a necklace? I don't know bro" jeno said on the other line

"wait- I got it. Thanks man" jaemin smiled and thanked jeno one last time before he ended the call

After buying the gift he drives towards your apartment to pick you up. He pushes the doorbell on the front door only to be greeted by you opening it with a wide smile

"hey jaemin" you smiled at him making his ears red

"h-hey you look really beautiful today" he smiles at you "let's go?" he said and grabs your hand intertwining them together.

The day has finally ended, you had alot of fun with jaemin by your side. You are now at the Han River under the moonlight that shines on the water.

Feeling the breeze of the night time sky.

" y/n, you know I love you right? To the moon and back ill always love you. I really hope that you will never get tired of me, I know I'm clingy sometimes but i hope you won't give up on me, because I'm not giving up on you. Thank you for being there beside me through ups and downs. I wanted to give you this as a sign that I'm gonna make a promise to you in the near future " he took something from his pocket. A red box that has a beautiful simple ring on it

You can't help but cry at how sweet he was. He gently grabs your hand and puts the ring on your middle finger

"now your hands looks much more prettier. " he smiles and gently wipes your tear that was on your cheeks and kisses you.

You pulled him closer to you wrapping your arms around his neck while his arms are wrapped around your small waist.

You both pulled out from the kiss that lasted a few minutes. You smiled at him and tiptoed to whisper something on his ear

"when I am with you the only place I want to be is closer"
