A Lazy Sunday

*Phan is not not real and it is always not going to not possibly happen 

*Phans sure hope it happens

“Phiiiil, can you make popcorn?” Dan yelled from the sofa. Phil rolled his eyes at his flatmate, “You have two working legs and two arms, use them please.” Dan paused the part of Insidious he was on. “Phil, please? I’m so comfy on the couch, and if you make it, then you can join me!” Phil smiled, “How could I refuse that deal?” He saved his editing and headed over to the kitchen to make the popcorn.

With the popcorn popped and emptied into a bowl, he headed over to the couch. Dan smiled at him and scooted over, taking the bowl from Phil’s hand. Phil settled into the space beside Dan, leaning against him slightly. “It’s kinda cold,” Phil excused and focused on the screen. After two handfuls of popcorn, Dan placed the bowl on the table beside him and smiled slightly over at Phil.

When an image popped out during the movie, Dan hid his face in Phil’s neck. Phil chuckled and rubbed Dan’s back soothingly, “It’s okay, they won’t get you in your sleep; I wouldn’t let them.” Dan snuggled closer into the crook of Phil’s neck, breathing in the familiar fruit body wash and a smell Dan could only describe as ‘home’. “This is totally platonic, by the way. I’m just really scared and too lazy to get my teddy.” Dan mumbled into Phil’s neck. Phil smiled and wrapped his arms around Dan, “And I’m just cold.”

Even after the movie had finished, neither Dan nor Phil moved from their very comfortable seat on the couch. Phil felt Dan’s breathing steady on his neck and he settled himself more into the couch and threw a blanket over them both. “Goodnight, Dan. I wish you knew how much I loved you.” Phil said as he closed his eyes. It was either in a dream or in real life, but Phil felt Dan’s mouth curve into a smile against his neck.
