The next day I was up and studying all I could about vampires. What I found was mostly about the cheesy movie vampires. None of it made sense or was even close to what I had experienced. I needed to confront this monster, but I had to do it in a public setting.

There was no way I could get away with just running away. What if he tracks my friends and tortures them thinking they know where I am? If he was telling the truth of not wanting to hurt me then I could just talk with him. I felt chills all over my body. There had to be another way. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to keep this baby. I was not ready to be a mother at all. From what I knew about pregnancy terminations, I had to make a decision soon. I felt my head start to throb.

I looked through conspiracy theories on vampires,I remembered one thing that had affected him. Silver, He had made me take it out of his arm that one day. I kept reading blogs but none mentioned that silver was deadly to vampires. It only ever mentioned that it was deadly to Lycans/ werewolves. I wondered for a second if vampires existed, was it possible that werewolves did too? I kept digging through the blogs and finally ran into one.

Vampires exist, they are damned creatures. Since they first appeared in this world there is no escape from them. I can sense them... they are here.

I closed the laptop and all of this was making me hungry. I got up and started to boil some water for some pasta. I sat back down looking at my phone. I saw I had an unread message.

David: Hey lets meet up for lunch?

Nat: Sure :)
David: I'm in your area so I can pick u up
Nat: I don't live in the house anymore
David: I know I got stacey to give me your new address

Nat: haha ok then, what time will you be here

David: 4:30

Nat: K see ya soon

I felt my heart flutter, I turned off the water I set to boil and got ready. I always struggled to find an outfit, but I finally settled on a flowery dress and a white knit sweater with my boots that I always wore. I thought back to when I was younger, David always called me a cowgirl because I always wore boots. I guess not a whole lot changed in my style. I laughed to myself looking at the clock. It was nearly time so I headed outside.

I sat outside on the bench the apartments had for leisure and I waited. The day had started out as sunny but now I could see the clouds start to collect around the sun.

I looked up and there he was across the street. He walked over to me with his shoulders hunched over slowly. It took him longer than it should have to walk to me.
"Hi, you look beautiful, flowers really suit you" His voice was calm, not at all threatening like in my nightmares, It was almost normal.

I stood up immediately "There are people around, you try anything I'm screaming". I said with conviction.

He put his arms up "Relax I'm not here to hurt you. Just to talk". He smiled. It made me want to puke.

"What do you want?" I asked, glaring. He sat down.

"You're in danger. Vampires are seen as abominations by some people. Those people aim to kill anything related to vampires. Not just adult vampires but children as well. You're carrying our child and you will be on their list soon." He looked up at me sitting down. He placed his hands on the table with his palms up and slouched.

"I'm not a vampire." I replied flatly. "Are you sure about that?" He asked me, staying still.
"Of course! I dont drink blood and I certainly don't harm people" I hissed at him. He flinched at my statement.
