Laila's POV
The same day....

Pryce please come the hell on." I said to him because he was being difficult with these pictures.
"Bruh we can just take another one, I don't like this one." He said looking at the pictures the photographer showed us.
"Nigga I'm bout to run yo ass over when we get outside if you don't come the fuck on." Sin said, just as impatient as I am.

"Alright alright. Just take one more and I'm done." He said going back in the backdrop.

The photoshoot is going really good, all the pictures are so cute. I had them put up a pink backdrop with everybody wearing white shirts and light blue jeans, except I was wearing a pink crop top and a light jean skirt. I brought big colorful balloons as props and got my makeup done.
I took pictures with just about everybody, from Jayla and Sin all the way down to Jay Jay and Legend.

"Alright come on, we already been here for two hours." Dj said as all the boys surrounded me in the picture.
"Look your best Pryce cause this the last one." I said through a smile while looking at the camera.

The flash went off a few times and Jayla smiled.
"Finally, we done?" Cierra said as we all walked to the woman taking our pictures.
"Yes, I think if I see one more flash ima go blind." I said while she showed me the pictures. "These are really good. How will I get these?" I said to her.

"Your choice. I can print them off, I can email them to you, or I can go get them officially made and mail them to your front door." She said and I nodded.
"Yes that'll work, I will text you on my address. This is your number on the card right?" I said and she nodded.
"Yes ma'am, and happy birthday." She said and I gave her a small smile.

"Thank you. Y'all come on." I said because they were wondering around the studio.
"Where we going now?" Essence said while we walked through the double doors.
"You wanna go eat?" I said unlocking my car while walking towards it.

"What y'all finna do?" Cierra said coming up to us.
"We're finna go eat, then I might go see about Nayah. Then ima head over to the Breakroom." I said and she nodded.
"Okay okay. What Nayah talking about? We all seen her post on instagram." She said and I rolled my eyes at the thought.

"Girl she ain't talking talking about nothing. We just ain't cool right now, ima pull up on her later tho." I said while hopping in my car.
"Alright, make sure to take some pictures, we wanna see with your grown self." She said and winked at me making me laugh.
"I know, I'll talk to y'all later." I said starting the car while Essence hopped in.

"Where we bout to eat at?" Essence said like the little boy off of the viral video making me laugh.
"I don't know, I think I wanna go to Rosé's." I said heading that way.
"Dang it's been years since I've been there. I hope the food is still good." She said and I nodded.

10 minutes later...

We walked in the restaurant and immediately my stomach started growling.
"It always smells so good in here." I said to Essence who was smiling as we found a seat.

"Welcome to Rosé's, may I start you off with some drinks?" This white girl said standing over our booth.
"I'll have a strawberry soda." Essence said.
"Sweet tea." I said and she gave us a smile before walking off.

"She's pretty." I said looking passed Essence at this lightskin girl that was sitting alone at a table of two.
"She is, I wonder who she's waiting on." Essence said and I shrugged before the waitress came back with our drinks.

"Are you guys ready to order?" She said sitting the drinks on the table.
"You ready?" I said to Essence who put down her menu.
"Yes can I have the 2 piece catfish with greens and baked macaroni and cheese. And a side of hot sauce." She said and I smiled because I remember the first time we came here, she didn't even know what soul food was.
