Jayla's POV
2 weeks later...

I was tossing and turning in my sleep because for some reason I was uncomfortable, which didn't happen often. A few seconds later my alarm went off and I opened my eyes a little before groaning.
It's Friday and I usually just wait to wake up till Legend comes in, because now he thinks he's old enough to wake up by himself, but I have a job interview today at 3 but I wanted to be up the whole morning.
I reached over and clicked the power button on my phone to turn it off. I was ready for Sin to get up and use the bathroom, since he always wakes up on my alarm, but I didn't feel him move.

I reached over to touch him just to feel that his side of the bed was cold. I looked and he was gone.. for the third time this week.
I tried not to catch an attitude because I didn't want to start the day off like that, but he was starting to piss me off. He leaves before I wake up and doesn't wake me up and tell me that he's leaving, why he's leaving, or where he's going.
I rolled out the bed and stretched before going to use the bathroom. Once I sat down, I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself down.
I've noticed over the passed month and a half I've been stressed out, and I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's because my boyfriend isn't by my side every morning or something but I don't know.

Once I got done, I brushed my teeth before walking out and calling Sin. I put the phone to my ear and it only rang twice before I got out on voicemail.
"I'm not even finna try with him today honestly." I said to myself, not even trying to call twice.
But before my attitude could settle in, I looked at his nightstand and there was a paper. I went and looked at it and read what it said.

I had an emergency at work but I'll be back

"Why didn't he just wake me up?" I said folding the paper up.
I walked out of the room and went down the hallway to Legend's room to see his door cracked with the lights dimmed.
I pushed the door open a little and I didn't see him in his bed.
"Legend?" I said stepping in and then I seen him pop out of the closet with a white collard shirt in his hand and some socks.
"Morning." He said with a hint of sleep still in his voice and I smiled a little.

"Goodmorning baby, I see you've been keeping up with you alarm." I said looking at his alarm clock.
Yes, alarm clock. Sin took his phone when Legend permanently moved in from his mom, he feels like he's not old enough to have one and I agree. Me and Sin didn't get our first phones till we were like 14 and 15, and just because Sin has money doesn't mean Legend has to be a complete spoiled brat. He already has one of the newest game systems, I feel like that's enough to satisfy him till he's older.
"Yep. I told you I can wake my own self up." He said putting his clothes on the bed.

"That's good baby, don't forget to put your deodorant on." I said reminding him.
Sin also started giving him his own deodorant, and Legend was excited because he felt like he was 'getting grown.' Before, Sin used to keep deodorant in his room and would make sure he was putting it on, but now Sin felt like he was old enough to remember to put some on everyday. He also makes him keep some in his backpack for football.
"I know mama. Can you make pancakes?" He said taking his clothes into the bathroom, I guess to take a shower.

"Yeah I'll just make breakfast." I said and he smiled and did a little dance making me laugh.
As soon as I stepped away, my stomach growled and I touched it.
"Didn't know I was that hungry." I said to myself while going to put some socks on because I was barefoot.
I went back in the room and put some socks and house shoes on before my phone went off. I took my foot off of my knee and picked up my phone, and I was surprised to see it was Sin.
