Countess-Eclipse asked so here is the next and final chapter of "My Red-eyed Savior." Enjoy!!
"Told ya." [Y/N] said as watched the two boys chow down on fried chicken with mashed potatoes. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry." Shu said as he took another bit. "This is awesome [N/N]." Fubuki beamed with a dollop of potatoes stuck on his lips. "Thanks." [Y/N] giggled softly as she wiped the spot away.
"Who taught you to cook?" Shu asked. The teen glanced at him before sighing. "It was the old lady who pretty much raised me for three years." The boys froze at that. Never had the older girl mentioned that she was raised by someone else. [Y/N] gave them a weak smile before explaining her story.
The girl had listened to her parents fight and threaten to divorce for two years now. The 10-year-old sobbed softly as she traced her hand over her championship belt. She had been in minor tournaments here and there but now she was scared to leave the house, her room even.
She had became a ghost in the Blading world. A gunshot and scream tore her of her thoughts. The girl ran down stairs to find her mother on the floor with a bullet wound in her shoulder. "Mama!" Young [Y/N] screamed as she heard her father's truck speed away. "Hold on Mama!" The girl said as she bolted out the door and across the street to their neighbor.
[Y/N] knocked on the door and a elderly woman answered. The woman was an old friend of her mother's and had known the girl since her birth. "Please help. Papa shot Mama!" The 10-year-old sobbed. The woman gasped as she pulled the child into her arms. "It's okay." She muttered softly as she called the cops.
Her mother didn't press charges even though her husband had tried to kill her. After that, the girl started staying with the old lady. Three years later the International Blader's Cup began.
"What's wrong child?" [E/N] asked as the announcer spoke, naming other Bladers who would take place in the tournament. "It's nothing." The, now 13, teen said. The woman smiled softly. "Here baby girl." She said as she handed [Y/N] a bundle of cash.
"That's about $300. It should be enough for a plane ticket." [E/N] said. "What no!" [Y/N] cried out. "I can't take this." [E/N] smiled softly. "Yes you can darling. I remember how you used to smile so brightly as you Battled. I want to see that smile again. Go ahead and show the boys that a girl can Blade too." She said.
The girl smiled softly as she let out a quiet sob. "I will. Promise." [Y/N] said. [E/N] helped the girl pack her clothes and drove her to the airport. "It's time." The young girl said as that name of her flight was called. "There's that smile I remember." [E/N] said as the girl gave her a hug.
The tournament was the most amazing time [Y/N] had experienced in years and, even though she didn't win, she made some awesome friends along the way. Including the albino boy who would one day save her of her family.
"And he did. Huh, love?" [Y/N] said as she smiled at the boy. Shu returned the smile with one of his own. "Yeah."
