Episode 2 Into The Darkness

Chapter 1
The cold is coming upon us, I can feel it, I can taste it in the air as it bites my skin. I wake up from sleeping on the floor upstairs beside Pastor Williams, using Markus's vest as a pillow. "Morning Clem, how'd you sleep?" Asks Williams sounding so nice and calm. It's nice to have someone so calm in days like this. Mac walked upstairs, waking everyone up. "Alright, we have some work to do, we've got a group of Raiders spotted, a herd coming our way, and hardly any of us have any fighting experience, so today, Clementine, you are going with Sadie down to the farm house to learn how to defend yourself. Williams, you are going to help get this place ready for combat, if things go bad of course." He says before Sadie comes up and pats me on the back as we walk down stairs, but I get up and run and hug Williams before leaving. "Don't let Mac get to you, he's just really stressed." Sadie says as we walk down the dusty hills down to the barn. "I'm not, he is just trying to do what's right." "Where are you from Clementine." "I was with a group before I came here, then we were attacked, but met back up at the Government building in Marshall, but most of us died, including Lily." Sadie stops and falls slowly to her knees and cries softly. I pat her shoulder, but she looks up at me. "How and why did she die?" She asks with a voice so weak, but also strong. "We were inside the building when we saw another one of our people, we asked for him back but the woman in charge wouldn't let her come with us, so Lily went and said goodbye, but I could tell what she was doing, she was saying goodbye to all of us in a way, she knew she wasn't going to make it. So she took a piece of glass and stabbed the woman in the face, but then the gun went off, and killed her." I say looking down. "She never liked me, but I always looked up to her." She said.
Chapter 2
We have been shooting for 3 hours and I've hit almost all of them. Sadie's radio went off and she grabbed it. "We've got a problem, get your ass back here now!" Screamed Mac through the radio. We sprinted back up the hill and ran upstairs, everyone stands around a medical table and cries, but then I see why. Parker has stopped breathing, not moving a muscle. "We have to put him down!" Screams the man who brought me here, but then I finally remember his name from Lily speaking of him once, Calvin Ritter, that's his name. "No, never say that again you bastard!" Screamed back Mac. "It has to happen Mac, but none of us has the will to do it." Said Sadie crying into Calvin's shoulder. "I'll do it." I say. Everyone turns around to face me, faces in shock and awe. "You'll......you'd do this for us?" Asked Rodney. "Rodney no......She's just a little girl!" Screamed Calvin. "I can do it!" I scream back. "Fine, but I'm not staying to watch." Says Mac. Everyone walks downstairs and I can hear them crying. I look down at Parker's pale, dead body. I take out my pistol and aim. "Parker, I never knew you but I want you to know........ I'm sorry." I say before putting the bullet into his brain. That night I sit on the balcony and watch out at the wood line, when I think I see movement, but I dismiss it.
