"Casey....Casey..." I shook my husband's shoulder in the middle of the night almost a week after the baby announcement dinner. "Casey!"

"What?" Casey bolted up, looking around, obviously disoriented. "What's wrong? What happened? Jane? Is it the baby? What is it?"

"I'm hungry," I flicked on the bedside light. "Like really hungry."

"You're...oh," Casey rubbed his eyes sleepily. "Oh okay. Well that's good...I mean you've been getting sick so much lately, it's about time you're actually hungry," he paused, obviously trying to figure out why I was looking at him so expectantly and why I woke him up in the first place. "Did you need me to...Do you want me to get you something?" He figured he better offer.

"Well I was going to go down and get something but...well I sort of wanted something we don't really have," I bit my lip, looking slightly anxious. "I was going to go out and get what I wanted but I was worried you would wake up while I was gone and I didn't want to scare you."

"Oh no that's good...that's good," Casey nodded, still trying to wake himself up. "I'll get you whatever you need. What is it? What do you want?"

"A cheeseburger," I blurted out, suddenly looking guilty. "I really, really want a cheeseburger."

"You...you want a cheeseburger?" Casey stared at me in surprise.

"Yeah," I nodded. "I woke up and I was so hungry and suddenly I just...I just had to have a cheeseburger. I know it's late but..."

"No, no that's...whatever you want," Casey was already dragging himself out of bed, grabbing the sweatpants he had dropped on the floor before bed and pulling them back on. "I'll just...I'll be back in like ten minutes," he leaned over and gave me a kiss. "Guess I better get used to these kinds of late night food runs huh? Cravings and all?"

"It's likely," I nodded, my cheeks pink. "I'm sorry Casey."

"Don't be," Casey laughed, giving me kiss. "It's the least I can do after all. You just stay here and rest. Take care of that little one for me."

Casey found himself pulling on a jacket, still feeling half asleep as he headed out to get me a cheeseburger. Given the hour, Casey returns home to find me in the kitchen, bag of chips in hand.

"I thought you wanted a cheeseburger?" Casey held up the bag he had purchased, which also had fries just in case I decided I wanted something besides the burger.

"Oh well I decided to come down and wait for you and I was just so famished so I started looking through the cupboards and I found these," I explained. "They're quite good," I smiled as Casey placed the bag down on the counter for me. "I actually think they would be even better on this," I then said, grabbing my cheeseburger and opening up so I could place a few chips in the bun.

Casey couldn't help but laugh; amazed at what he was seeing.

"Mmmm this is so good. Just what we wanted," I said, making Casey smile. "Would you like to try?"

"Why not," Casey grinned; taking the bite that I offered him. "Not bad. Although this is definitely something I wouldn't normally eat. Were your cravings like this when you were pregnant with Isa?" He asked, taking a seat at the island.

"For the most part yes," I smiled as I sat down as well. "I ate a lot of things I wouldn't normally consume. I recall a lot of candies and salty treats. Oh and a lot of burgers," I said, mouth full.

"Okay then," Casey laughed. "I will be sure to stock the cupboards for you and I'll be ready to get you a burger whenever you need one."

"Well I must say I like the sound of that," I couldn't help but laugh myself. "It's nice."
