I take my eyes away from the road for a moment to look over at Cami.

she's saying something about a sale that we just have to attend. i laugh to myself. ever since i started attending Gladden High shes been the only one ive opened up to.

even though she looks like your typical rich white girl, platinum blond hair green eyes and only the top name brands on her body. normally i wouldnt befriend this type of person but shes grown on me.

"i can take you but i dont think ill buy anything" i tell her almost jokingly "awww but why not? ive been looking for a chance to improve your wardrobe. you know its social suicide to wear black and grey all the time." Cami says puppy dog eyes trying to convince me but i wont budge.

im not like her i dont like to stand out. although i dont say that "i just dont have the money for it right now" i tell her, and its true.. partly. i live on my own.. ever since my family died in a house fire where miraculously i was the only survivor.. but i try not to think about that. some family member ive never met sends me a small bit of money each week.

she sits back "fine but your coming with me even if you arent buying anything Lisa" i chuckle. thats a little easier to do.

"okay but i think you should get ready cause were here" i say as we pull into the parking lot for our school. i get out of the car and get my backpack from the back seat. "lets go" i tell her "okay" she says her heels clacking on the sidewalk.

i put my beanie on over my red hair and take a look over my outfit which consists of greys and blacks. my MCR t-shirt and a black hoodie, black skinny jeans and my favorite converse. "well you coming or not?" Cami asks "yep" i say and we walk in to the school.
