Minutes before Rudolphs arrival ( or more )

I could only sleep a few hours before I woke up again and couldn't sleep once more. I decided a way to past the time would be to read about my favorite myth. Vampires. I crawled up from my spot on my bed and carefully went to the side to not wake up Ruby I success at doing so,but now I had to walk from my bed to my desk which was next to the walk in closet door but the problem was the creeky floor boards that was one thing I didn't like about this room. One wrong step and I could wake up Ruby and if Ruby wakes up she wakes up everyone in this castle and it's only 4 in the morning so I could get a huge lecture over that. Ruby may be small pup but she can Bark.

I carefully press my feet on the boards to see which one was right. My little strategy was working so far that was until I pressed my foot on the wrong floor boad making a loud CRREEEK . I look back over my shoulder but thankfully Ruby was still sound asleep only moving her legs as if she was running sideways on the bed sheets

I make it to my desk and start to look up some vampire facts, stories, and mostly what caught my eye.

30 minutes of research.

I was reading about some vampires and how they have mates and stuff,mostly stuff I already knew well minus the mate thing that was kinda interesting so I clicked on a website and started to read about it.
I got pretty distracted by the whole vampire mate thing and didn't realize that it was 5:50.

I decided I should stop and start getting ready for the day. I turn from my desk and face the bed and look up the ceiling and rubbed my eyes  from looking on the computer to long. I then released Ruby, she wasn't on the bed. I get up and look over the bed yup she definitely wasn't on the bed but where is she? I wonderd
I mean she is small but I would have realized she was gone the minute she woke up. And there was no way she left the room I locked it. I couldn't help but think of the places a small teacup pup could have wandered, My thoughts were disturb by a low growl.

I look over to where the noises were coming from they were coming from near the balcony but the door and curtains were closed. Wait but  didn't I leave them open before I went to sleep. I wasn't in thought for long when I saw swift movement in the shadows I mean yes the only light in the room was the walk in closet but I could still see the outline of the figure and it definitely wasn't Ruby it was a person.

I looked for an object to defend myself with in case a psycho broke into my room or something. I found a wooden type object it had sharp points so this could probably scare them off right. I  put the wooden object close to my chest and walked as quit as I could to attack them by surprised.
I peered over the connor of  the bed  and saw Ruby but she seemed to have a hold of something I was about to tell her to stop but before I could I heard a hiss of a cat. Ruby suddenly let go of the object and hid under the bed. I started to slowly walk towards the person extending my arms from my chest pointing the object in my hands towards them. But of course I was spotted thanks to these dam creeky floor boreds. I look up at the person and put up a straight face and said Who are you and what are you doing in my ROOM.

They stayed silent.

I will use this I said narrowing my eyebrow I figured it would scary them but surprisely no they just looked at the object in my hands and back at me

The person finally moved allowing me to see their face. they looked around my age and they had black pointy hair Maroon eyes and a greyish skin tone. I didn't realize what was happening till they yanked the object off my hands and threw it across the room breaking it into two pieces. He started to hiss at me like a feral animal I took a step back but he floated towards me each step I took back,but I stopped in my tack when I hit a wall behind me. His eyes we're glowing a bright red  and when he opened his mouth I realized this wasn't some dam psycho that just broke into my room it was a Vampire I felt excited that they were real considering they are a mythical creature but also wasn't since I was probably his meal of the day.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door causeing the vampire to back away and fly into the closest turning off the light. Life saver I thought I quickly grab Ruby from under the bed and speed walked towards the door opening it to reveal Linda and Wade the butlers of this castle with concern all over their face.
