CHAPTER 4

(Jana's POV)

"Gray? Are you alright?" I asked as I approached him.

He looked at me and smile.

"Come on, you're not a good pretender," I jokingly added.

He gave me a deep sighed and looked away again.

"It was just like yesterday when I thought everything is okay between Phyllis and me. I was too stupid of not noticing earlier that she had been cheating on me and of all people, my best friend, Caleb." He ended it with another deep sighed.

"It already happened. We have nothing else to do but to make everything right. They can't just be happy after what they caused you. Stop with the self pity." I replied.

He looked at me and smiled.

His smile can't hide his pain inside.

It's an oxymoron when you look at his eyes.

"Jana? Are you talking? A-alone?"  a familiar voice came from my behind.

I turned my back and there I saw Daryl.

"O-oh Hey! Daryl, what's up?" Holy crap.

He might think I gone crazy.

"Good, good. What are you doing there?" He asked with a confuse face.

"Ahh--- me? Rehearsing! Yeah rehearsing for our theatrical play next month." I slightly laugh.

Phew! (sweat wiping)

I think that one works.

Hehe.

"An early rehearsal huh. Weird" he mumbled.

"By the way, have you seen Saffi?" I asked.

It seems like he is still not believing it.

"Upstairs. Helping his Knight and shining armor to surprise his princess. Haha! Stupid" he laughed.

Well yeah he knew about it.

But hey! It's only me who can call Saffi stupid not anybody else. -__-

"Hey, hey, hey. Watch your words. Did you just call my best friend STUPID?" I looked at him with a sharp eye.

"No, no. Sorry hehe. I got to go Jana. Bye!!!" He walked away quickly.
