You're Niall's best friend. He helped you knowing that boy you like, Matthew. Niall's the sweetest person ever having doing this. It's been exactly a month now that you're with Matthew but you don't feel like seeing him. Indeed, recently he hasn't been the same around you, less caring, less showing love, less kissing and less talking to you. You two don't see each other as much as before. You don't really know what to do so you decide to call Niall.
N: "Hey babe! How are you?"
You: "Could have been better.." you whispered through the phone
N: "What's the matter, love?"
You: struggling for the tears with a broken voice "It's Matt.."
N: "What, what happened? Did he hurt you? If he did so I'm gonna throw his head to the wall!" he shouted angrily through the phone.
You: cutting in "No, no, it's not that, don't worry, well it's not that yet. I mean, it's been a week he didn't even text, call or ask to see me properly. He did text me but it couldn't have been a shorter conversation.. I fear he might have getting bored of me.." you said, hesitating
N: "No way! Getting bored of you, how would this even be possible? I'm gonna find him, I swear, I'll catch that mother fucker!" he said seriously
You: laughing "You don't have to, but thanks a lot. You're the best friend I could have possibly imagined to have. Love you loads, Nialler. Gonna cook for lunch, do you want to have lunch at my place?"
N: "No prob, love. I would have loved to come but we're on rehersals this afternoon. I have to be there early. But I'll come another day. Love you even more, darling!" he said joyfully.
You hang out the phone and decided to go downstairs. You were cooking when the doorbell rang. It was Matthew. You opened the door, looking sharply at him "Hey you, what are you doing here? It's been a while.." you said, "I know, that's why I'm here. I can't do this anymore.." he said, "Are you fuckin breaking up with me?" you asked angrily, "Yes, I am, I'm sorry, but I mean it's not your fault, it's mine, you know.. And I met this girl.." he answered hesitatly, "You being serious in here? You came to tell me that? And yeah it's your fuckin fault, you twat! How could you even do that? Get the fuck out of here!" you shouted back, slamming the door shut to his face. The tears started streaming down your face and you let yourself slide down the corridor wall for what looked like an eternity to you.
The bell took you out of your thoughts. "Get the fuck out, I said!" you shouted at the door. "Babe, what's happening in there?" you knew this voice, it was so familiar. It was Niall, the sound of his voice directly calmed you down. You open the door, trying to sound normal but it was obvious you were crying, "What did he do to you? I saw him getting in there while I was coming, I wanted to surprise you.. I was hiding behind the bush" he said shyly, "But I didn't hear a thing except your bad language.." he chuckles, "I have to say that I was well taught, didn't I Nialler?" you laughed and he did too. "You're so much more beautiful when you're smiling, I don't want to see you like this ever again, love" he said smiling, his hands on your cheeks, holding your head up, his blue eyes looking deeply through your soul, he was so handsome. He brings you closer and hugged you tight for a while, his muscular arms around your waist, bringing you two as close as possible to the other. He smells so good, you put your head in his shoulder as he whispered in your ear "love you, don't ever forget that". You two were snuggling in the couch for an hour, speaking of anything, laughing for nothing. But he had to go, so he promised he'll come back later, because he didn't want to let you alone after what happened.
It was almost midnight when you heard him knocking on the door. He was standing at the end of the driveway, all suited up, looking dashing, "Hey love!" he shouted from there with a huge smile on his face. "What are you doing?" You asked him running down the garden to meet him. He gave you a bouquet of red roses, "There are fourteen of these gorgeous flowers in there. Fourteen, as many magnificent flowers as the fabulous years I've spent next to you" he said timidly "You're always there next to me, you always make me laugh, you're like my spirit animal" he giggled, "You're the only one person I trust, the only who knows everything about me, it never gets awkward, it's always a good time. I, I wish we had more time to spend together.." he stammered "You're the most amazing person I've ever met and I just don't want to be far from you, I want you next to me, all the time.." he stopped. You are in tears, tears of joy, of course, he was so cute. He looks at you, trying to see your reaction. He kneeled, holding your hand, "what are you doing babe?" you asked him laughing, "I love you dear, I really do. You're my princess, I want to show you how much I love you, all the time.. I've been waiting for this for so long, always thought I was wrong, but I decided I should try because I couldn't spend another day without you, without you in my arms.." he said, his blue eyes were so clear, it shined like never before, "Would you be my princess, my love, my, my, girlfriend?" he tried to say clearly without stopping "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, you so fragile and so strong at the same time, you cry watching any film and you laugh for nothing. You never know how to dress even though your closet is full. You're an awesome cook and I love being there with you watching you doing this because you always make it with love and passion. And I need this love, I truly need it, because i don't know if I'm ever gonna get it directly from you.. You're so shy at the beginning and then you just become the funniest, the sassiest, cheekiest girl in the world. You're perfect to me. Of course you have flaws, you laugh for nothing, yeah sometimes it gets really annoying; you can be smiling and then the minute after you could be crying your heart out. I know you by heart, I know what you hate about you, you'll never treat yourself right darling, but I want you to. You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you. You still have to squeeze into your jeans, but what? You're perfect to me. You always look so gorgeous, you're cute when you wake up, when you eat, when you laugh and when you cry. You're the reason of my happiness.. I've never loved someone that much. It hurt so bad to know I'll never be with you.. It does hurt, but it does worth it too. I love you, I think I already told you, but I want to shout it to the world. I want everyone to know.." he said, his words pouring as fast as possible, he was short of air now, he took a long and deep breath.. "I want everyone to know.. that I love you." he added, blushing.
He looks at you waiting for you to say something. He was still standing on his left knee, "Come here, love" you said, opening your arms, waiting for his perfectly drawn arms to hugg you. He stood up, getting closer and closer. He titled his head, putting his forehead on yours. You can feel his warm breath on your cheeks, as he gets closer. Your lips met his in a warm and smooth touch. He put his hand on your neck, holding you close and you passed your hands through his blond smooth hair. He bit your bottom lip and you couldn't help asking for more. He enters your mouth with his tongue and it was a tender and a sweet kiss. It felt so good, you wanted it to last for ever. Your bodies were so close you could hear his heart race through his white shirt.
He stood back, looking deep in your eyes, "I guess it was a 'yes'?" he asked, you both laughed. "I love you too" you whispered in his ear, getting back to the serious part where you tongues meddle in a sweet taste. He delicately drew a line with his finger from your neck to your chest, giving you shivers in your whole body, "You're so beautiful.. You're my cute little princess" he said smiling before kissing you again.
You stand there in the garden almost half an hour before going back to your room together.
