Suro Hirano, thought to be quirkless, possesses a quirk known as Next Soul, which allows him to take in the souls of his ancestors. As a little kid, he has always wanted to be a hero. Now he has a chance to do so. Will he succeed?

Suro: People like to say that we are all equal.
Two random people are talking to each other. They seem to be enjoying themselves as they begin laughing.
Suro: But that claim. It couldn't be anymore false.
The same people are seen again. They are both at their houses. One is a small hut, while the other is a mansion.
Suro: Some people are born with more money. Some are born with more power.
The person living in the hut pulls out a lighter and uses it to start a fire. The person in the mansion takes a sip of coffee as he shoots a flame from his hand, igniting the fireplace.
Suro: Personally. I wasn't born with money, or power, and I'm fine with it.
Suro is sitting at a desk. He is listening to the teacher explain how all the students were obviously going into the hero course.
Teacher: These are the results we have gotten from you all.
Out of all the results. 4 stand out the most. There were 5 students that had the correct scores to go into U.A. which is the top hero school in the world.

Suro: Heh. Well look at that...
Suddenly, most of the students begin to laugh.
Student: Hirano? Haha! He'll die in the exams!
Shuri: Hey! Don't pick on him!
Hayato: ...
Suro smiles. He couldn't believe people were foolish enough to waste time with someone like him.
Garon: What... The... FUCK!?!?
Suro: *yawn*
--timeskip--
Suro has grabbed his things and is now planning on walking home, but someone grabs his shoulder.
Suro: What now?
Suro turns his head. As he thought, it was Garon.
Garon: I'm only going to say this once. Tell me how, a pathetic extra like you is trying to get into U.A. High?
Suro: Got a problem with it?
Garon: Why you-
Before Garon can act, Suro punches his gut and kicks him to the floor. He runs out of the room, out the school and hides in a tunnel.
Suro's thoughts: Someone as weak as me can't win in a fight against a gold rank like him.
Suro sighs. He is about to head home, when he hears a sound behind him.
Garon: YOU. LITTLE. MOTHER. FUCKER!!!
Suro's eyes widen as Garon's arm becomes coated in some pitch black material.
Suro's thoughts: I want to get away! But I can't! Someone, please help!
Alright so now that I have made the prologue. I will explain the ranking system that will be used.
List of Ranks:
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Attributes:
Power: Potential damage output
Defense: Potential damage resistance
Speed: How fast can they move
Recovery: How well one recovers from physical damage
Trick: How versatile and unpredictable one is
How to determine Ranks:
While determining ranks, there are 5 different attributes. Power, Defense, Speed, Recovery, and Trick. Each one is scaled from 1-10. Anything better than 10 is considered Unreadable.
Bronze Rank is anywhere between an overall of 0-19
Silver Rank is anywhere between an overall of 19- 29
Gold Rank is anywhere between 30, and 50
Platinum Rank is only achieved when someone has at least 1 stat that is Unreadable.
