The Evans siblings were at home just hanging out as they talked. Y/n was preparing for her last year in middle school Y/n's POV
"Sam, I don't think I'll be ready for high school next year. I-I mean what if I fail!" I said obviously feeling very nervous
"Y/n, you'll be fine little sis you still have at least 10 months before your freshman year." Sam assured me
"I'm not little Sam your only a year older than me." I said sitting down on the couch
"Did you wanna hang out with me and Santana we're going out for ice cream then the movies." Sam asked me
"No I'll pass I'm hanging out with Quinn and Brittany we're going to the beach." I said to Sam
A knock on the door made us turn around. Sam got up from the couch and opened the door to see Santana
"Hey guys!!" Santana said hugging Sam then me
"So Y/n you coming with me and Sam?" Santana asked me
"No I'm going to the beach with Quinn and Brittany." I told her she nod
"Hello? Anyone home?" I turned around to see Quinn
"Quinn!" I ran to her and hugged her.
"You ready to go?" Quinn asked me
"Yeah let me get my bag." I said running up to my room getting my bag and running back downstairs
"Alright let's go!" I said waving goodbye to Sam and Santana leaving the house and entering Quinn's mom's car.
On the way to the beach we picked up Brittany and drove to the beach
"You have been crushing on Santana since 6th grade Y/n, when are you going to ask her out?" Quinn said
"I don't know Quinn, I'm not even sure Santana likes girls." I said
"I'm sure she has a thing for you." Brittany says to me
"Let's just go to the beach." I said blushing.
We hanged out at the beach for an hour before drying ourselves and going back to the car.
"You're gonna have to tell her one day Y/n." Quinn said to me
"Yeah well today's not that day." I said
We dropped Brittany off and said goodbye to her
Quinn's mom dropped me off and said goodbye to me. I unlocked the door and opened it to see Sam and Santana watching a movie
"Hey guys" I said walking upstairs to take a shower. When I was done I changed into some comfy clothes

I went back downstairs making my way to the kitchen and grabbing an apple from the fridge.
"Hey." I turned to see Santana
"Hey." I said eating my apple
"How was the beach?" Santana asked me
"It was fun." I told her
"I'm gonna go home it's getting late." Santana said
"Okay I'll see you." I said hugging Santana before walking her to the door
"Have a good night San." I said
"You too Y/n." She told me before walking out and walking home. I closed the door and threw my apple that was done in the trash and sat on the couch with Sam
"I really like her." Sam said
I looked at him then back down
"Then ask her out." I told him
"I will soon." He told me
I went up to my room and watched some Netflix and later fell asleep.

It was the first day of school. I woke up and got up going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash up. I went to my room and changed into an outfit

I went downstairs to see my mom making breakfast, my dad was out on a business trip for a few months, Sam was on the couch watching TV
"Good morning family." I said going into the kitchen helping my mom cook. Once breakfast was done I had eaten and put on my shoes grabbing my backpack and hopping into my mom's car.
"You ready for your last year as a middle schooler?" Sam asked me
I chuckled "Yeah." I said
We had gotten to my school as my mom dropped me off telling me to have a good day
I saw Quinn and Brittany and walked to them
"Hey guys!" I said hugging both of them
We went to the office to get our schedule
"Well looks like we have the same classes together." I said smiling
We went to our first class which was English.

School had just ended. I made my way into my mom's car
"Hey sis how was your first day?" Sam asked me
"It was good Quinn and Brittany have the same class as me." I said.
We had just gotten home as I went up to my room.
An hour later there was a knock on my door
"Come in." I said the door opened I saw Santana
"Oh hey San." I said
"How was your first day?" Santana asked me
"It was good. I have the same classes as Quinn and Brittany." I said
"Well me and Sam are watching a movie you wanna join?" She asked me
"Sure." I said as we went downstairs and watched the movie
Santana left after the movie ended as I went upstairs to take a shower. I changed and went to bed not before saying goodnight to my mom and Sam.
